Presented is an anchor bolt placement and protection device to facilitate setting of anchor bolts in concrete to facilitate placement of a mud sill. It is important that the anchor bolts that secure a mud sill to a foundation be properly spaced from the outside edge of the foundation. In one embodiment there is provided a device having a tubular projection open at one end to receive the threaded end of an anchor bolt. Projecting integrally from the bottom open end of the tubular projection are two lateral projections. One is adapted to place an anchor bolt when a 2&#xd7;4 mud sill is used. The second projection positions the anchor bolt at the proper distance to receive a 2&#xd7;6 mud sill. A second embodiment is provided with a single lateral projection extending perpendicularly from the open bottom end of the tubular projection. The top surface of the lateral extension is provided with cross-ribs and indicia that indicate the proper placement of either a 2&#xd7;4 or 2&#xd7;6 mud sill. A third embodiment provides a second laterally extending plate member in alignment with the first but on the opposite side of the tubular projection. Both extensions are provided with transverse ribs indicating the proper location of the device in relation to the underlying form boards.

Anchor bolt placement and protection device

Polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind senescent cell derived inhibitor protein (SDI-1), cell lines that produce such monoclonal antibodies, and the use of such antibodies are disclosed.

The use of liposomal formulations, particularly formulations of positively charged and neutral lipids facilitates cellular uptake of SDI molecules. The transcription and/or expression of SDI-1-encoding nucleic acid molecules is facilitated by constructs that contain intervening untranslated regions.

Senscent cell-derived inhibitors of DNA synthesis

A free standing coin operated game system includes a computer and a mechanical animal for a player to ride. The game further includes a first video display screen displaying computer generated video graphics of a moving head section of an animal of the same species as the mechanical animal. The first screen is disposed in front of the mechanical animal and viewable by the player. A second video display screen displays the score of the player. A third video display screen displays computer generated video graphics of an animal of the same species as the mechanical animal and a mounted rider on the animal. During play of the game, movement of the head section image in relation to the surrounding arena images creates a sensation of movement in the player. The video graphics image displayed on the first video display screen induces physical movement by the player who is positioned on the back of the mechanical bull. The mechanical bull is mounted on a rocker which allows for side to side movement by the mechanical bull. Movement by the player in response to the video graphics images on the first display screen will result in physical movement of the mechanical bull.

Rodeo game system

An expression vector cDNA library derived from senescent cells has been used to isolate cDNA clones that encode inhibitors of DNA synthesis. Such inhibitors play a role in cellular senescence and aging. Antisense nucleic acids reduce the inhibition of DNA synthesis.

Phage display methods were used to identify mimetics of SDI-1. Such mimetics are small peptides that are capable of binding to cyclin molecules, especially CDK2. The invention is directed to the mimetics and to methods for producing them.

A method and apparatus for use with folding machines of the type having a score roll for scoring sheet material which has been coated and/or printed with ink and the like. The method includes, and the apparatus provides for, heating the score roll to a sufficiently high temperature (generally 150.degree.-400.degree. F.) for softening or otherwise tempering the coating material and/or ink for precluding, or minimizing, unsightly damage resulting from cracking of the coating during scoring and creasing, bending or folding of the sheet material along the score line.

Method and apparatus for folding printed/coated sheet material

A hitch device adapted to be mounted on a draft vehicle for towing a trailer vehicle having a tongue with a latch pin hole, including a rearward biased yoke member normally engaging and retaining a downward biased latch pin in an elevated armed position. When the draft vehicle is moved rearward toward the tongue, the yoke member is engaged and thrust forward by the tongue to release the latch pin which is thrust downward through the aligned latch pin hole in the tongue. Remote-control means are provided for elevating the latch pin in order to unlatch the draft tongue.

Automatic trailer hitch

An eyeglasses and headgear combination is disclosed. The eyeglasses may be worn alone or in combination with the headgear. The temple member of the eyeglasses is alternatively positionable behind the ear of the user or attached to the headgear. When the temple is attached to the headgear, the temple extends outward from the front of the eyeglasses at an angle different than when the temple is positioned behind the ear of the user. This provides maximum comfort for the user in both positions. The coupling to which the temple is attached may be pivoted to move the eyeglass lenses out of the user's field of vision and rest them on his head or headgear.

A closed loop energy exchange system is disclosed configured to utilize a pump assembly comprising a submersible pump positioned in casing having an inlet means to receive water or similar fluid in a manner to create a turbulent flow of water within the casing.

A pants closure adapted for use on a pair of pants (12) comprising a first plate (14) mounted to the underlapping flap (39) of pants (12) and having a retaining clasp (16) extending outwardly therefrom; a slide handle (52) attached to slide elements (46, 48) and with a first hole (54) which fits over the retaining clasp (16); and a second plate (20) mounted to the overlapping flap (36) of pants (12) and having a second hole (22) which fits over the retaining clasp (16). When the forgoing elements are assembled, the slide handle (52) is sandwiched between first plate (14) and second plate (20) while in registry with retaining clasp (16). A padlock (24) is mounted on retaining clasp (16) when retaining clasp (16) extends through second plate (20) with slide handle (52) secured onto retaining clasp (16) between first plate (14) and second plate (20), thereby closing the vertical opening (66), formed when a left flap (36) and a right flap (38) of pants (12) are apart, and preventing locking slide (50) from moving down and side elements (46,48) from opening while pants (12) are being worn.

Pants closure

A hand held tool for installing a threaded fastener in which the tool is adapted for use solely as a drill bit, solely as a screwdriver, and as a combination thereof, wherein the threaded fastener has a central bore extending therethrough. Extension of the drill bit beyond the end of the screwdriver blade may be selectively controlled, and the drill bit may be maintained in its entirety within the shaft of the screwdriver when not in use to thereby preserve the sharpness of the drill bit. A unique locking collar is also provided.
