A process, using simple tools, is provided for the removal and replacement of lawn sprinkler units in a manner that facilitates alignment of threaded components and prevents entrance of lawn soil into water distribution piping that feeds the sprinkler units.

Method and apparatus for replacement of lawn sprinkler units

A method for signing a wrapped computer application is described. In some embodiments, methods may include receiving a wrapped computer application via a first secure communication connection from a first remote server, authenticating the first secure communication connection, modifying the wrapped computer application based at least in part on the authenticating, and transmitting the wrapped computer application via a second secure communication connection to a second remote server based at least in part on the modifying.

A hand manipulatable tool for removing and replacing sprinkler heads threadably connected to an underground watering system employs a straight metal pipe component having outwardly flared portions at both extremities adapted to grip the sprinkler heads. A straight handle rod interactive with the pipe component facilitates unscrewing and lifting of the gripped sprinkler head.

A system of belt and buckle components enable a handicapped person to achieve self-transfer between a bed and contiguous wheelchair. One extremity of the belt is secured to the wheelchair, and the other extremity of the belt is anchored to a panel inserted beneath the bed at a site transversely opposite the wheelchair.

A system and method for on-demand application delivery. A computing system comprises a streaming server and a client computer coupled to one another via a network. In response to a request to install a given application on the client computer, the client computer sends a streaming request to the streaming server for retrieving files from an installation snapshot. The client computer identifies files determined to be utilized during an initial launch and execution of the given application. For these identified files, the client computer creates a corresponding physical file. For other files, the client computer adds corresponding metadata in an index of files and no physical file is created at this time. For file system access requests, the client computer utilizes the metadata stored within the index of files to handle the requests. In response to a request for access to a file not installed on the client, a request is generated to retrieve the file from the server.

Method and system for creation of streamed files on-demand

A system and method for streaming an install package into a virtual environment. The system includes a server and a client. The server streams an install package to the client as a series of streamlets. The client starts an installer component in a suspended state outside the virtual environment. The client registers the installer component in the virtual environment and initiates execution of the installer component in the virtual environment to receive portions of the install package and install the received portions of the install package in the virtual environment. During package installation, a virtualization manager detects an attempt to execute a call to a file system and confines file system changes resulting from the call to the virtual environment in response to determining that the attempt was made by the installer component and the installer component is registered in the virtual environment.

Streaming an application install package into a virtual environment

A wrench having a specific configuration which permits it to be used in tightening a nut which secures a yoke of a yoke/universal joint assembly with the end of a shaft of a drive shaft assembly of a vehicle. The nut is generally seated in a recessed opening in the body of the yoke between a pair of extending trunnions and is secured to a threaded shaft on a stub shaft which extends into an opening in the recess of the yoke. The wrench includes an elongated handle, neck, and a nut engaging head. The neck is provided with specific curvatures which permit the wrench to be inserted into the yoke and a handle having cutout side surfaces which permit the handle to be rotated in a wider arc than could be achieved with a handle having straight sides. The head is provided with an extending portion having an internal nut engaging portion for engaging the nut. The extending portion is provided with an external diameter which is smaller than the inner annular surface of the recess to permit the extending portion to 'reach' into the recess so that the internal nut engaging surfaces may encompass the nut. The wrench permits the nut to be rotated without disassembling the yoke/U-joint assembly, as is usually required.

In an open mouth bag, in which a primary closure is formed by folding down a lip of the rear panel and securing it to the front panel with means to release the lip from the front panel, an improved secondary closure of a reclosable fastening tape which can be repeatedly opened and reclosed after the lip has been released from the primary closure.

A valve bag with an opening in one corner adapted to receive a spout for filling the bag, the opening having an insert therein, which insert has a light coating of a lubricant on its inner surface, so that when the bag is slipped on the filling spout some of the lubricant will be transferred to the spout and lubricate the spout for the next bag to be slipped on the spout.
