A billiard ball racking system including a rack housing light emitting means to project a pair of 180 degrees separated light beams into at least one light receiver means housed adjacent the side rail of a billiard table so as to assist the racking player in consistently producing a square rack which, when achieved, is visibly evident to the breaking player.

An improved camouflaged product and method of making such a product is disclosed. A multi-layered camouflage construction may comprise a first textile substrate and a second textile substrate secured to each other along parallel lines of stitching. The second textile substrate may be cut to form lobes oriented transversely to the lines of stitching to simulate the appearance of natural objects in the terrain, such as leaves or foliage. Thread which is capable of shrinking is used to attach textile substrates to each other, and then the thread is heated to shrink the thread into the stitch, forming a hardened seam with gathering and bunching of one or more substrates along the seam. Gathering of substrate along a seam contributes to the three-dimensional visual effect of the camouflage construction.

Composite camouflage construction and method for manufacturing composite camouflage construction

A multisided, slightly tapered open ended scoop which effectively economizes on the amount of masonry mixture and labor necessary to install masonry paving systems. The standard is formed of simple, inexpensive sturdy construction and provides a method to efficiently scoop up and deliver a compacted, molded and measured amount of masonry mixture, with a minimum effort. The quantity of masonry mixture used can be adjusted and the density of the finished molded mixture can be adjusted for varying masonry paver installations.

An improved camouflaged product comprising an open mesh, net substrate to which is bonded a sheet material. This sheet is colored in the desired pattern and bonded to a substrate along spaced lines of attachment between adjacent lines of bonding to the net substrate. Separate lobes are formed on each side of the lines of stitching to simulate the appearance of natural objects of the terrain such as leaves or foliage and then are heated to over 400 degrees Fahrenheit to wrinkle and deluster the camouflage lobes thereby significantly enhancing camouflaged properties, such as creating a wrinkled three-dimensional effect and significantly decreasing luster.

Melted and delustered camouflaged fabric

Method and apparatus for developing an improved camouflaged product comprising of an open mesh, net substrate to which is bonded a sheet material. This sheet is colored in the desired pattern and bonded to a substrate along spaced lines of attachment between adjacent lines of bonding to the net substrate. In this formation, indefinite length webs of the net substrate and a continuous sheet may be combined in faced relation and stitch-bonded along spaced parallel continuous lines to form continuous parallel channels or pockets along the length of the composite material. The composite net and sheet material is passed to a cutting machine having a plurality of generally U-shaped guide members that separate and space the net substrate from the sheet. As the composite moves through the guide members, a plurality of spaced heated air cutters to reside and reciprocate slightly above the sheet to cut a generally sinuous path between the lines of the stitches. Separate lobes are formed on each side of the lines of stitching to simulate the appearance of natural objects of the terrain such as leaves or foliage and then are heated to over 400 degrees Fahrenheit to wrinkle and deluster the camouflage lobes thereby significantly enhancing camouflaged properties, such as creating a wrinkled three-dimensional effect and significantly decreasing luster.

Method for producing melted and delustered camouflaged fabric

A multi-lumen drainage tube or catheter body includes a primary drainage lumen and separate auxiliary lumens with obstructed proximal ends wherein the tube may be used a simple, single lumen drainage tube, a two lumen drainage tube or a three lumen drainage tube by removal of one or both of the obstructions from the proximal ends of the auxiliary lumens and connection of the lumen openings at the proximal end of the drainage tube to the corresponding single or multi-lumen adaptor. In the second aspect of the invention, a drainage tube system is provided which may employ the adaptable multi-lumen drainage tube of the first aspect of the invention and wherein the adaptors employed therewith are provided with a mechanism for selectively inserting a flexible, elongated clean-out catheter into and down the length within the main drainage lumen to pass the distal end of the catheter through accumulated matter and to introduce a high suction pressure through the clean-out catheter lumen to evacuate the loosened obstructing matter from the main drainage lumen. The adaptor through which the clean-out catheter is introduced preferably includes a main lumen connector adapted to be connected to the drainage lumen and having two branches extending therefrom. The main branch preferably includes a valve for closing the first branch and a further connector for connection of the main drain lumen to the fluid collection vessel and low pressure pump when the valve is opened. The second branch preferably includes a connector having a fluid seal therein that bears against the exterior surface of the clean-out catheter and through which the clean-out catheter may be advanced and retracted. The clean-out catheter is preferably encased within a flexible, compressible sheath wherein both the sheath and the proximal end of the clean-out catheter are joined at a normally-closed valve and connector body adapted to be connected to a high suction pressure source and collection vessel.

Surgical drainage tube system

A lightweight composite camouflage construction having an open mesh net substrate, and a continuous sheet overlying the substrate and bonded thereto along plural spaced lines of attachment. The sheet is cut on opposite sides of the lines of attachment to form a plurality of lobes simulating the appearance of natural objects of a terrain, the sheet being color patterned in a desired coloration camouflage. The fabric is heated and the lobes folded and creased to increase the openness of the fabric.

Method and apparatus for the manufacture of a composite camouflage construction having an open mesh net substrate, and a continuous sheet overlying the substrate and bonded thereto along plural spaced lines of attachment, with lobes of the sheet cut to simulate the appearance of leaves and foliage. Apparatus and method includes a sewing station for stitching the sheet along plural spaced lines of attachment to the substrate to form open-ended pockets or channels between the sheet and substrate. The cutting station spaces the sheet from the substrate and a heated cutting wire reciprocates between adjacent lines of stitches to cut the sheet, open the channel, and use a series of loose lobes simultating the appearance of natural objects of a terrain, the fabric is then heated to cause the lobes to shrink and fall out of the plane of the fabric and are folded and creased to increase the openness of the fabric.

Method and apparatus to produce heat treated camouflage fabric

Apparatus and method to provide sealed edge products with a reduced tendency to lint and ravel by supplying a hot air jet in the range of 600.degree.-800.degree. F. to melt and swell the fibers to lock the warp yarns in the fabric. The hot air jet is directed perpendicular to the warp yarns and parallel to the fill yarns in the sealed edge product.

A water jet loom in which heat generated by the vacuum source blower is recycled to the fabric heater to reduce the amount of auxiliary heat needed to dry the fabric as it passes to the take-up roll.

A machine to process fabric knit in tubular form which includes apparatus to lay down a stripe of a gumming composition to allow the tubular fabric to be slit in the center of the solidified gumming stripe. The slit knit fabric is then opened up to full width and taken up. The tubular knit goods are conveyed through the gumming and slitting operation by a four belt conveying system which allows the lengthwise tension and the width of the tubular fabric to be controlled.

This invention relates to an apparatus for efficiently and automatically cutting a length of tubing into a shorter length or lengths of tubes. The apparatus includes automatic devices to actuate and deactuate the tube cutters as well as printers used to code the cut tube lengths.
