Disclosed are compounds, compositions, and methods relating to epitope-targeted immunostimulants (EPIs), which comprise a synthetic peptide ligand and an antibody-recruiting moiety. The peptide ligand binds an epitope on a target and the antibody-recruiting moiety recruits antibodies to the target when the EPI is bound to the epitope on the target. Also disclosed are compositions comprising any of the disclosed EPIs. Also disclosed are methods of stimulating an immune reaction to a microorganism or other pathogen in a subject where an EPI is administered to the subject. Also disclosed are methods of identifying the peptide ligand by using multi-omic analysis.

Disclosed are compounds, compositions, and methods involving cyclic peptides that can bind to KRAS (G12D) oncogenic protein. For example, disclosed are cyclic peptides that selectively bind KRAS (G12D) oncogenic protein. Also disclosed are methods of inhibiting KRAS (G12D) oncogenic protein in a cancer cell expressing KRAS (G12D) oncogenic protein. In some forms, the method comprises incubating the cancer cell with any one or more of the disclosed cyclic peptides. In some forms, the method comprises bringing into contact the cancer cell with any one or more of the disclosed cyclic peptides.

A lift system includes an overhead support, a counterweight, a base unit including a brake and secured to a floor, a fly line, and a load line. The fly line connects the counterweight, the overhead support, and the base unit via pulleys. The brake is configured to engage the fly line to limit movement of the counterweight and a load. A manual rope brake includes a housing having a base portion, an upper portion, and a hinge rotatably connecting the upper portion to the base portion. A cam lock is within the housing between pulleys. The cam lock engages a rope when the brake is engaged, and disengages from the rope when the brake is disengaged. A portable lift system includes a container configured to carry pulleys, a base unit, a fly line, and a load line when the lift system is in transport. Related methods are also disclosed.

A lift system for lifting a load includes a counterweight, a base unit, a fly line, a load line, and pulleys. The base unit includes a movable cam assembly coupled to a fixed frame. The cam assembly includes a cam member that is rotatable relative to a carriage of the cam assembly. The cam assembly can be moved between first and second positions relative to the frame member, and prevents movement of the fly line through the base unit in the first position, while movement of the fly line through the base unit is allowed when the cam assembly is in the second position.
