A manway open and close assist device that is operably connected to at least one upper hinge attachable to a manway cover and a lower hinge attached to a vessel or tank. The device comprises. A disc-like piston is mounted on a threaded input screw and at least one anti-rotation member to provide linear translation of the piston due to rotation of the input screw. A cylindrical and tubular housing that receives the threaded input screw, the anti-rotation member, and the piston, wherein the housing has a plurality of helical grooves disposed in its inner surface that receive teeth on the outer surface of the piston. The housing may be fixed to the upper hinge member(s) and a rotation of the housing and attached hinge member(s) is effectuated by rotating the input screw and resulting linear movement of the piston to open and close the manway cover.

Piano keyboard cards contain a pictured keyboard on the cards with note indicators on keys to be played and fingering numbers showing the finger to be played. These piano keyboard cards have several varieties including scale and chord keyboard cards. These piano keyboard cards can be used on their own without a piano. Also included is a music notation sheet that has all notes of music notation labeled and a fully labeled piano sheet that has all the notes on a piano labeled. Used in conjunction these sheets' line up together clarifying where each key of the piano is on a musical scale. Also included is a fully combined version of the music notation and piano sheets.

Piano cards music theory teaching method and apparatus

A system of teaching piano playing and music theory having piano cards. Piano cards are a flash card system with piano note information on each card. These piano cards are placed above piano keys of a piano or other keyboard designating keys to be played in a specific scale. Black and white triangles on these piano cards designate ebony and ivory keys to be played and can only be placed on a keyboard correctly if aligning white and black triangles with ebony and ivory keys. Triangles designate fingers to be used on fingering cards by way of numbers designating fingers. On music theory cards numbers inside triangles designate scale degrees. On chord cards numbers designate degrees to be played. This music teaching system further comprises a music wheel that has been color coded designating the key a scale is in.

An anchoring system for a movable structure is provided. The anchoring system can include a base plate and an anchor rod assembly. The base plate includes a slot configured for receiving a portion of the anchor rod assembly. The slot can include a pocket for receiving and retaining the portion of the assembly. The assembly can be secured to the movable structure and can include a handle component, an extension component and an anchor rod having a threaded member engaged with the extension component and handle component so that the anchor rod can be lifted and lowered relative to the extension component. The system can be operated by moving the structure so that the anchor assembly engages the slot of the base plate and enters the pocket. The anchor rod is then retracted within the pocket, thereby securing the structure.

Provided herein are methods and compositions for increasing the production of one or more cellulases from a fungal host cell. The disclosure is based, on the surprising discovery that mis-expression of the transcriptional regulator clr-2 in a filamentous fungal cell was able to induce expression of cellulase genes under non-inducing or starvation conditions, resulting in increased secretion of cellulases from the cell. Advantageously, mis-expression of the transcription factor clr-2 in a filamentous fungal cell cultured in the absence of cellulose or cellobiose results in increased secretion of cellulases. The disclosure relates inter alia to a method of degrading cellulose-containing material, to a method of increasing the production of one or more cellulases from a fungal cell and to a method of reducing the viscosity of a pretreated biomass material, by contacting pretreated biomass material with a fungal host cell containing at least one recombinant nucleic acid encoding clr-2 or a related transcription factor.

A golf swing training device for improving the swing of a golfer. The device includes a base block with a plurality of elongate guide rods extending therefrom whose tips demarcate the proper path of a head of a golf club when swinging the golf club at the golf ball. A spaced apart pair of generally rectangular stabilizing legs are outwardly extended from the distal face of the base block. The stabilizing legs each are positioned adjacent the bottom side of the base block such that the lower portions of the stabilizing legs and the bottom side of the base block are coplanar with one another.

A fertilizer applicator is provided for use with a sprinkler line system. The applicator comprises a fertilizer container with integrally formed internal inlet and outlet tubes. Water is fed through an inlet-outlet tube into the bottom of the fertilizer container, where it dissolves or dilutes some of the solid or liquid fertilizer and forms a leached, concentrated solution. This concentrate continuously rises through the fertilizer and into the outlet tube where it drains downwardly. The concentrate is then diluted with water coming through the inlet-outlet tube including a venturi, the size of which controls the flow rate of the concentrate. The diluted concentrate is then passed into the sprinkler system for application to vegetation. The applicator has a single piece, simplified design, without moving parts, and does not leak fertilizer into the drain. Also, the bore arrangement of the applicator enables the device to be drained and then filled with fertilizer, without fertilizer leakage, followed by running water through the fertilizer at any selected time, and this renders the operation more automatic.

A container for solid fertilizer is provided, the container being inserted into a sprinkler line system. The container provides a screen to hold the fertilizer and permits water to permeate therethrough. The screen and fertilizer are secured within a screen holder having continuous or perforated side walls, depending on the type of solid fertilizer to be used, and a gapped bottom support for the screen. Water from the sprinkler is fed into the container and is pressurized through the screen and dissolves the fertilizer. The rate of solubilization depends on the water flow, the type and solubility of the fertilizer, and the size of the perforations in the screen and gaps in the screen holder.

A fertilizer applicator for solid fertilizer is provided, and is inserted into a sprinkler line system. The applicator comprises a container component which encloses and suspends a fertilizer holder component and spaces the two conponents to define a water pressurization chamber therebetween. Water is fed from the container through the pressurization chamber and into the bottom of the fertilizer container where it dissolves some of the fertilizer and forms a leached, concentrated solution. This leached solution rises through the fertilizer and into overflow tubes where it drains downwardly through the bottom of the fertilizer holder. The concentrated solution is then diluted with water draining from the bottom of the water pressurization chamber, and the diluted solution of fertilizer is passed into the sprinkler system for application to vegetation. The applicator has no moving parts, and has a simplified design. The applicator reduces problems due to plugged drain bores, and channeling effects through the solid fertilizer.
