A technique includes coupling outlets of a first ink supply and a second ink supply together to provide ink to a printhead of a printer; and pressurizing the first ink supply and the second ink supply with air so that an air pressure of the first ink supply has a different air pressure than an air pressure of the second ink supply. The technique includes monitoring an ink-to-air differential pressure of the first ink supply or the second ink supply; and detecting an ink state for the printer based on the monitored ink-to-air differential pressure.

In some examples, an apparatus includes a pressure sensor, and a controller to determine, based on pressure data from the pressure sensor, an amount of time to depressurize a fluid supply from a first pressure to a second pressure, and determine a level of a fluid in the fluid supply based on the amount of time to depressurize the fluid supply from the first pressure to the second pressure.

In one example, a method for determining an out-of-liquid condition of a liquid supply for an inkjet printer. The method includes acquiring, during printing, a sequence of data points, each data point comprising a differential liquid/air pressure at the liquid supply measured with a sensor and a corresponding cumulative amount of liquid delivered from the liquid supply. The method further includes generating a curve using the data points. The method also includes determining, from a predetermined characteristic of the curve, whether the out-of-liquid condition exists. The characteristic is independent of at least one of a gain and an offset of the sensor.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel has a variable white balance. The LCD panel includes an LCD screen, a first light source, a second light source and a light path directing the first and second light sources onto the LCD screen and a control circuit used to adjust the relative intensities of the first and second light sources. The first light source has a first color spectrum and the second light source a second color spectrum. The color spectrums of the first and second light sources are mixed in the light path to create a balanced white spectrum.

An asynchronous camera/projector system includes a projection screen, having a key color, a projector, oriented to provide a sequenced background image to the screen, and a camera, located in front of the screen, and oriented to capture a sequenced image of the screen and a real object positioned in front of the screen. A projector/camera system includes a projector, configured to project a sequenced image to a projection location, and a camera, located at the projection location and oriented to take an image of a region including the projector. The camera is configured to capture a sequenced image that is synchronized and out of phase with the sequenced image of the projector, thereby to minimize light interference from the projector.

A method of displaying an image having a first aspect ratio with a display device having a second aspect ratio includes receiving image data for the image, buffering the image data and creating a frame of the image at the first aspect ratio, defining a first sub-frame and a second sub-frame for the frame of the image at the second aspect ratio, including spatially offsetting the second sub-frame from the first sub-frame in one direction, and alternating between displaying the first sub-frame in a first position and the second sub-frame in a second position spatially offset from the first position with the display device, including optically scaling a displayed image of the first sub-frame and a displayed image of the second sub-frame in the one direction.
