A cooking appliance includes a housing with a cooktop thereon. An oven is defined within the housing and is accessible via a door. A console extends upward from the cooktop and includes a front side that has a user interface and a rear side that is opposite the front side. A flue is configured to convey air from the oven cavity to the rear side of the console. A flue cover is coupled to the rear side of the console. The flue cover defines a chamber that has open upper and lower ends. The air conveyed from the oven cavity by the flue is configured to flow out of the rear side of the console into the chamber between the upper and lower ends.

Cooking appliance having a flue

A cooking appliance includes a heating surface and an interface console elevated above the heating surface. The interface console includes a viewing window forming an outer surface and an inner surface, opposite the outer surface, and a display device configured to transmit light through the viewing window. The display device is aligned with the viewing window in a spaced-apart configuration forming an insulating passage between the display device and the interior surface. An air intake is in connection with the insulating passage. The insulating passage provides an air flow path extending from a ventilation passage of the cooking appliance, and the ventilation passage extends away from the heating surface and communicates environmental air to the insulating passage.

User interface display for cooking appliance

A display apparatus for a cooking appliance includes a first substrate. The first substrate forms an interface surface of the interface console and is designed to be exposed to a heat source of a cooking appliance. A display device is configured to transmit light through the first substrate and is aligned with the first substrate in a spaced-apart configuration. The spaced-apart configuration forms an insulated passage with an interior cavity between the display device and an interior surface of the first substrate. An air intake is in connection with the insulated passage. The interior cavity provides an air flow path extending from an inlet positioned away from the heat source and draws environmental air from the inlet and through the insulated passage.

In a drain device for purging compressed air lines of water, oil, sludge, and other contaminants by the alignment of a first pair of apertures in a valving mechanism to allow the contaminants to enter a central chamber and periodically moving the central chamber to align a second pair of apertures to allow the contaminants to flow from the chamber, a pair of seals are provided for sealing each of the pairs of apertures. One seal is concentric with the one aperture in order that, with the apertures aligned, the seal will prevent leakage into or from the interior of the housing. A second seal encircles the first seal and extends radially away from the first seal in a direction coincident with the movement of the chamber portion which causes misalignment of the apertures. Accordingly, the second seal prevents escape of contaminants from the misaligned apertures while the first and second seals cooperate in the misaligned mode to prevent communication of the two apertures.

Seal for compressed air line drain device

A drain device that removes oil, water, sludge and other contaminants from compressed air systems comprising a cylindrical housing for attachment between diametrically opposed compressed air and drain lines, a cylindrical rotor rotatably journalled within the housing, a single port, at least as large as the inside diameter of the air line, through the wall of the rotor, the port being positioned for sequential alignment with the air and drain lines, when the rotor is actuated and a pair of bleeder valves between the interior chamber of the rotor and the atmosphere including respective cam tracks positioned on end walls of the rotor and housing to open the valves when the rotor port is aligned with the discharge line.
