Apparatus and methods for selectively masking image data and inhibiting projection of light corresponding to the masked image data. Projection devices include a light engine to project light onto a surface within an available field of projection and a processing unit configured to selectively mask image data in response to user input defining a desired field of view. The masked image data is that image data corresponding to areas outside the desired field of view.

Selectively masking image data

One embodiment of a projector includes a first enclosure that defines a hermetically sealed interior, an electrode pair positioned within the hermetically sealed interior, and a second enclosure that surrounds the first enclosure, the second enclosure manufactured of diamond.
