A game system comprises a base game-playing structure and at least two target surfaces each defining at least one target zone and depicting different projectile-passing games. The target surfaces are engageable with the base game-playing structure in one or more substantially vertical orientations and configured to receive passed projectiles. The system also includes at least one sensor engaged with the base game-playing structure. The target zone is positioned at a location on the target surface which is aligned with the sensor. The sensor is configured to detect the presence of a projectile at the target zone. The system may also include an electronic display configured to display the status of the game being played with the game system, and an electronic controller configured to receive signals from the sensor and coupled to the electronic display to reflect the status of the game.

Preferred embodiments of the present invention provide a game table, such as a billiards table, with lights. Preferred embodiments and features provide for lights mounted around the periphery of a game table or mounted on the sides of a game table. The lights may be internally or externally powered from the table. Certain preferred embodiments provide one or more power sources mounted to the game table to power the lights. Other preferred embodiments provide one or more solar panels to recharge the power source(s) mounted to the game table. In some preferred embodiments, the game table includes indirect lighting, such as downward or outward facing lights mounted on the sides or apron of a billiards table. In an alternate preferred embodiment, rope lights are mounted around the periphery of a table.

Certain preferred embodiments of the present invention provide an improved adjustment system and method for raising and lowering a basketball backboard and goal using a telescoping assembly such as an extension and retraction cylinder. In some preferred embodiments, an actuator assembly is mounted to a midpoint of a lever arm and situated such that the extension or retraction of the actuator assembly causes a mechanically advantaged travel in the height adjustment structure for the goal assembly. As a preferred feature, the present invention provides a greater height adjustment distance in the backboard assembly for a reduced number of cranks compared to a direct connection between an actuator incorporated in or directly attached to an adjustment arm.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a riser for an archery bow is manufactured by providing a flat workpiece, forming the flat workpiece to a pre-bent profile of an archery riser, placing the flat workpiece in a press, and bending the flat workpiece to a desired non-flat shape of the archery riser. Preferably, the flat workpiece is an aluminum sheet in a T4 aluminum condition. Further, after the non-flat shape is created, the riser can optionally be cured to a T6 aluminum condition, a less soft condition.

Preferred embodiments of the present invention provide a quiver assembly, bow and method for dampening vibrations. Quiver assemblies useable with the present invention are often of conventional types mounted to various types of archery bows to hold one or more arrows in a convenient, portable location for the archer. These quiver assemblies can be used with various types of compound or recurve bows conventionally known in the industry. In a preferred feature, the present assembly provides one or more dampeners for reducing vibrations imparted to the quiver assembly and the overall bow construct. In a preferred embodiment, one or more dampeners are associated with the frame of the quiver assembly, and preferably are in floating engagement with the frame.

The present invention includes a game table for use in a game such as hockey or soccer. The table includes a table bed having an upper support surface. A game surface is mounted on said upper support surface and has an upper playing surface upon which the game is played. As one feature of the present invention, at least one game status indicator is mounted to the table with a display face indicating game statistics such as the score or time. In one embodiment the display face is visible through the game surface which defines at least one transparent section over the game status indicator. In an alternate embodiment, the game indicator display surface is mounted flush with the upper playing surface. The game surface has a thickness separating an upper playing side and a lower side. Graphic decorations are printed between the lower side of the game surface and the upper support surface of the table bed. In one method of printing, a first layer of graphic decoration is reverse printed on the lower side of the game surface, and a second layer of graphic decoration is reverse printed over the first layer of graphic decoration. In certain preferred embodiments, the upper playing side of the game surface may be textured, for example with dimples, stripes, random lines, or similar indicia to simulate uneven ground conditions.
