An improved wellhead electrical connection assembly utilizing multiple sealing mechanisms to minimize pressure and fluid leakage without reliance on epoxies or other sealants. The assembly utilizes upper and lower sealing systems to provide protection at both ends of the electrical connection.

An improved wellhead electrical connection assembly utilizing upper and lower retention mechanisms to minimize pressure and fluid leakage in the event of a tubing part or other failure. The upper retention mechanism ensures the connection assembly remains within a tubing hanger. The lower retention mechanism provides a secure connection to a downhole cable that can breakaway without damaging or dislodging other components of the assembly during an emergency event.

An electrical junction apparatus for accessing and sealing electrical connections comprising a housing, a removeable sleeve, and a fastener removably secured to a first portion of the housing that secures the outer sleeve to the housing. A method for accessing electrical connections in an electrical junction apparatus involves loosening a first and second fastener from a first and second portion of a housing respectively, removing a tightener from the first portion of the housing, and removing the sleeve from the housing. A method for sealing electrical connections involves installing a sleeve around a housing, positioning a tightener against the sleeve and the first portion of the housing, engaging a first fastener against the tightener and engaging a second fastener with the second portion of the housing and the sleeve.

Electrical junction apparatus with sliding sleeve containment

Systems and methods for testing downhole power cables wherein such systems and methods utilize a mounting bracket having a PEEK insulator extending from a first face of said bracket and at least one flexible lead extending from a second face of said bracket. Such systems and methods may accommodate three such flexible leads that are configured to interface with power cables. A shunting block may be incorporated in a protective cap configured to fit over the PEEK insulator extension from said first face of said bracket.
