A backwater flow detection device for detecting backwater flow between a building and a sewer conduit using air pressure detection in air pockets in the sewer conduit. The backwater flood detection device detects backwater flow events including backflow events from a sewer line as well as wastewater blockage events that can result in wastewater backflow into a building. The water detection sensor allows the homeowner or building manager to be warned when there is an issue with backwater flow in or near the building, and also with the backwater valve.

Backwater flow detection method

A system for growing plants and monitoring the growth of plants, comprising a gardening system and a server. The gardening system comprises a frame that defines a housing for receiving a tray of plants. The gardening system also has a lighting subsystem and watering subsystem to provide light and water to the plants. Sensors and cameras of the gardening system may capture data corresponding to the conditions of the gardening system and health of the plant. Based on the captured data, the server may use machine learning to determine optimal plant growing thresholds, and may send a control command to a controller of the gardening system to change one or more conditions of the gardening system. The plants grown by the system may be nutritious, and the bioavailability of the nutrients of the plants may be increased.

A garment hanger mechanism and system are provided for a multi-panel, foldable travel bag. The mechanism comprises a garment hanger member with spaced recesses for receiving clothes hangers. The member is attached to or integrated with a panel of the travel bag, and resides on the inside of the bag when folded. A removable securing means ensures hangers remain within the member recesses during travel. By using hanging means for both the bag and mechanism when the travel bag is unfolded, hanging garments can be efficiently unpacked and accessed from the travel bag without removing hangers from the member recesses. In this manner, the travel bag may be converted into a temporary travel closet within an existing closet. The bag can also be hung using just the bag hanging means from a door or in a closet.

An apparatus, system, and cluster for vertically docking interactive devices. The apparatus includes a pair of device docking hooks (DDHs), which temporarily couple to and secure an interactive device onto a vertical surface. In addition to the apparatus, the system may include one or more device locking mount(s) (DLMs) coupled to the interactive device, which further secures the interactive device to a static vertical surface. The coupling between each of the one or more DLM(s) and the interactive device may take the form of, for example, a magnetic attachment, a hook and loop fabric attachment, a spring loaded hook, a simple gravity induced friction attachment (e.g., a resting pad), etc. Alternatively, in addition to the apparatus, the system may include a device locking apparatus (DLA), which when engaged may further secure the interactive device to an articulating vertical surface.
