A foot lever assist mechanism permits transport dollies to be more heavily loaded, saving the worker additional trips to deliver the entire supply. The lever assist is preferably secured to the axle using at least one boss. An auxiliary feature of this lever assist is the provision of a telescoping ladder-like extender for supporting beverage kegs. A toe grab allows the workman to tilt the stack of cases off of the hand truck's support platform and pull the bottom of the hand truck from beneath the load. Brakes are also provided to resist the hand truck's tendency to move rearwardly when tilting is attempted.

The lever assist may be configured to move from dolly to dolly, being secured by a pair of thumb screws or welded in place, secured to the axle. An auxiliary feature of this lever assist is the provision of a telescoping ladder-like extender and an extra long base which maximizes the advantage this foot lever assist mechanism provides.

A two-piece telescoping handle mounts on the threaded ends of a tilt-tube of an outboard motor, moving from a first unobtrusive, retracted position to an extended position where the handle can be readily gripped to remove/carry the outboard motor, as needed.

The present invention provides pharmaceutical formulations suitable for intravenous injection comprising a lyophilized anti-ulcerative agent reconstituted in isotonic solutions suitable for intravenous administration, such as 5% dextrose or 0.9% sodium chloride. The solutions are brought to a pH of between about 9 and about 12, preferably between about pH 10 and 11, by a glycine-sodium hydroxide buffer. Such formulations are chemically and physically stable, and do not significantly change color, for at least between about 6 and about 12 hours at room temperature, and are stable to color change for from between about 24 and 48 hours if kept at 5&#xb0; C.

A pickup drop off lock box for medical samples is equipped with a failsafe lock which will not permit the key to be removed without the lid properly positioned to permit latching. Adequate thermal insulation is provided to allow samples to be stored at temperatures of 5&deg; F. for 16 hours. A delivery system for sunscreen products that applies a dry, waterproof sunscreen composition to the skin. A receptacle (500) is provided for coupling an adaptor (10) having a vial (54) including a beneficial agent to an IV administration set (526). In an embodiment, the receptacle (500) includes an injection site (512) for receiving a cannula (26) from the adaptor (10). A resilient divider (516) separates the receptacle (500) into two sections defined by an upper fitment (508) and a lower fitment (510). A container (520) holding a solution is in fluid communication with the receptacle (500) via an inlet (502). A through bore (518) allows the solution from the container (520) to pass through the resilient divider (516) when the adaptor (10) is removed from the receptacle (500).

In-line drug delivery device for use with a standard IV administration

A drug delivery device is provided for coupling a first container including a beneficial agent to a second member. In an embodiment, the device includes a substantially hollow member having a cannula mounted within a wall that divides the substantially hollow member into a first and second section. The first section includes means for receiving at least a portion of a first container. The substantially hollow member includes a wall that defines an exterior of the first section that is substantially flexible. A number of different cannula and flow path structures within the hollow member are possible pursuant to the present invention.

Adaptor for drug delivery

A power supply for use in a computer terminal capable of providing a plurality of direct voltage signals to the computer terminal logic system while isolating this logic circuitry from the line voltage is disclosed. A high frequency power supply transformer and associated circuitry provides the various direct voltage signals to the computer terminal logic system and provides isolation between the line input and logic circuitry. Parallel isolation is provided by a horizontal sync coupling circuit which is driven by the logic system and which, in turn, synchronizes the horizontal deflection system. The direct voltage signals provided to the logic supply system are both scan- and pulse-derived from the horizontal sweep signal permitting various computer terminal systems to be operated by display-derived power output signals.
