A valve for dispensing a flowable product from a container includes a mounting cup. The mounting cup includes a bottom wall having a central portion defining a seal-mounting opening through which a seal and a stem extend. An external seal bead of the seal overlies an upper end of the central portion. The upper end of the central portion is disposed at or below a plane extending transverse to a central axis of the mounting cup and defined by a juncture of a sidewall and an annular sidewall-bottom transition portion of the mounting cup.

An improved valve member, aerosol dispenser valve containing the valve member, aerosol container for dispensing moisture curable foams, and moisture curable foam and dispenser, in which the valve member is made of a glass filled polyolefin. The polyolefin is preferably a polyethylene. The glass content is between about 2% and about 40%, more preferably between about 10% and about 30%; and most preferably between about 15% and about 25%.

An improved valve member, aerosol dispenser valve containing the valve member, aerosol container for dispensing moisture-curable foams, and moisture-curable foam and dispenser, in which the valve member is made of a glass filled polyolefin. The polyolefin is preferably a polyethylene. The glass content is between about 2% and about 40%, more preferably between about 10% and about 30%; and most preferably between about 15% and about 25%.

A lever of an aerosol valve having a valve stem includes a lever member having first and second end portions, a first aperture disposed in the first end portion, and a second aperture disposed between the first and second end portions. The first aperture is configured to permit the lever member to be releasably received over a valve stem of an aerosol valve in a dispensing position, in which the second end portion extends outwardly from the valve stem to provide for pivotally displacing the valve stem to dispense product therethrough. The second aperture is configured so that the lever member fits in a stored position with the second aperture around a portion of the valve stem, and the first and second end portions extending alongside the valve stem, such that the lever member may be stored under a cover.

A dispensing applicator for reactive components is provided that comprises a valve assembly having at least two flow paths being separate from each other such that at least a first component in a first flow path and at least a second component in a second flow path may not mix in the valve assembly, where there is a passage in each of the at least two flow paths that have one or more exit openings in a peripheral wall of each passage. The dispensing applicator further comprises a resilient flow control band surrounding the periphery of each passage and the one or more exit openings in the peripheral wall of the each passage to prevent cross-over flow of one component into the flow path of the other component. The resilient flow control bands may be positioned anywhere along the flow path leading to a mixing chamber for the reactive components.

A valve assembly for an aerosol can comprises a valve conduit having an inlet, an outlet, a valve seat in the flow path between the inlet and the outlet, and a resilient mounting of a valve member that permits relative movement of the valve member relative to the valve conduit. The valve member further comprises a valve element that is movable to sealingly engaging the valve seat, and a stem projecting from the valve member through the outlet of the valve conduit. During the movement of the valve member relative to the valve conduit, the movable tapered sealing surface associated with the valve member is configured to engage and concentrically align with a tapered valve seat on the valve conduit to establish an effective seal against the valve seat.

The inventive dispenser comprises a cap and dispenser tube assembly for delivering a foamed product below the surface of a liquid through the dispenser tube. The dispenser tube pivots between a dispensing position and a non-dispensing stowed position, which allows for convenient cleaning of the dispensing tube. The cap further comprises a removable portion between a first and second section of the cap that restricts movement to prevent operation of the dispensing valve until the removable portion is detached by the consumer. The cap also includes a tamper resistant removable pull tab for securing the dispenser tube in the stowed position until the pull tab is detached by the consumer.

In a gun for dispensing a fluid component, a valve assembly controls the dispensing of the fluid component. The valve assembly includes a needle or valve member and a cup assembly having a passage for receiving the needle assembly. A channel system allows flow of the component through the passage past a seal. An actuator assembly may be provided for providing relative movement between the cup assembly and the needle assembly from a valve-closed position to a valve-open position in which the seal is located upstream from a downstream end of the channel system to permit flow of the component through the passage.

Valve assembly for a fluid dispensing gun

A foam dispensing gun is provided which dispenses a urethane foam. The foam gun, in one aspect, has a dual valve member in which valve seats are moved relative to valve members to open and close flow paths through the foam gun. The valve member opens the flow paths substantially simultaneously and to substantially the same degree so that the A and B resins will be mixed in a 1:1 ratio. The gun is provided with a locking or stop mechanism to prevent accidental activation of the foam gun. In a second aspect of the invention, a disposable urethane foam gun is provided which has only one moving part and no O-rings.

An animal waste rake apparatus wherein the rake comprises both a collecting surface and a holding surface. The collecting surface slopes down toward the holding surface, thus allowing for the collecting and retaining of animal waste. The collecting surface is comprised of several parallel rods, allowing for efficient collection of animal waste from any surface.

An aerosol cap which is tamper-evident. A portion of the bottom skirt must be torn away in order to remove the cap. The tear away section of cap is an independent member which when completely removed provides an unmistakable indication of tampering.
