User expressions of a user, including eye movement, are tracked by an image detector while the user is reading the text of the first media content. User expression data is generated based on the user expressions of the user. A determination can be made as to whether the user expression data indicates that the user gazes at a portion of the text presented on the display for a period exceeding a threshold value. Responsive to determining that the user expression data indicates that the user gazes at a portion of the text presented on the display for a period exceeding a threshold value, one or more actions can be automatically initiated. For example, additional media content that provides further explanation of the media content can be presented.

The graphic can be a graphically rendered HTML compliant element and a data set. The report can conform to a JAVASCRIPT OBJECT NOTATION (JSON) format. The analytics report can be presented within a browser. An action can be run responsive to the detecting. The action can be an immediate rendering of the graphic based on the event. When the action executes a request for data not in the data set data from a different data set can be obtained. When the action executes a request for data in the data set, the data from the data set can be automatically retrieved. The analytics data can be immediately rendered as a chart within the canvas element of an HTML document.

Providing direct manipulation of an analytics data visualization within an analytics report

Interface requirements for a set of services to be implemented between service oriented architecture (SOA) front end components and SOA back end components can be identified. A service emulator can be created that satisfies service call and data needs of the SOA front end components. Each portlet can fetch data from the data source and use this data to update the hidden version of the interface control. The hidden version of the control can be updated using the fetched data. After the hidden version is updated, the hidden version can be switched with the presented version. Each portlet can have a portlet refresh rate and the steps of fetching data, updating the hidden version, and switching the hidden version with the presented version can be repeated to satisfy the portlet refresh rate.

The method also can include initiating a programmatic action with the communication device according to the proximity of the RFID tag to the communication device, wherein the programmatic action is associated with the user.
