A ceiling lamp junction box assembly is composed of a base and an outer shell combined of two half portions that interlockingly combine to enclose electronic components contained therein. In addition, a protective plate is placed in a recess defined in the bottom of the outer shell to protect the electronic components and the outer shell during installation of the junction box. A dovetail portion present on the outer surface of the outer shell combines with a slot defined in the base to help improve rotational stability.

Ceiling lamp junction box assembly

A filtered lamp assembly useful for illuminating an aircraft cockpit instrument cluster. The lamp assembly includes an incandescent light bulb positioned within a housing that allows the emission of light having a wavelength in the range between about 380 and 620 nanometers. A wire form is positioned within the housing adjacent the light bulb and around the electrical leads extending from the light bulb so as to seal between the housing and the light bulb. The wire form prevents the leakage of a solidifable fluid material that is utilized to fix the light bulb and wire form into position. Further, a process for manufacturing a wire form minimizes the quantity of inventory and tooling necessary for the production of the filtered lamp assembly.

Filtered lamp assembly

A motorized golf cart circuit and apparatus capable of transporting various golf related items including a golf bag carrying golf clubs around a golf course under manual or automatic control is provided. The cart operator is provided with the option of operating the cart either manually by applying pressure to a switch located on the hand grip of the cart apparatus, or automatically in either a timer or a distance travel mode. The timer mode allows the cart operator to send the cart ahead automatically along a straight or curved path set by the operator for a predetermined period of time before the cart circuit automatically turns off. The distance mode of travel allows the cart operator to automatically send the cart ahead, following either a straight or curved path set by the operator for a distance of between 10 and 50 yards. Both the speed and the path of the cart may be varied by the cart operator by turning a balance control knob located on the control panel interface of the golf club cart. A battery safeguard feature ensures that the cart circuit and apparatus is disabled if a battery powering the cart has been incorrectly connected with the cart circuit. Power-on initialization circuitry prevents the cart circuit from operating immediately after the battery or connector plug is connected with the circuit, regardless of the positions of the control panel switches. The cart circuit also includes a 'soft-start' feature for preventing the golf cart apparatus from immediately lurching forward upon receipt of a start command from the cart operator.

Motorized golf bag cart circuit and apparatus

A circuit is disclosed which is suitable for controlling lighting in a building from a multiple number of points. AC current to light bulbs is controlled by a triac which in turn is controlled by the output of an optical coupler which is controlled by the output of a logic device. The output of said logic device is connected to control the input to the triac. Switches connecting to the input of the logic device each can independently determine energization or deenergization of the light bulbs.

Electric circuit control system using logic device

A circuit is disclosed which is suitable for controlling lighting in a building from a multiple number of points. AC current to light bulbs is controlled by a triac which in turn is controlled by the output of a series of exclusive OR gates. The output of each exclusive OR gate is connected to one input of an adjacent exclusive OR gate except that the output of the last exclusive OR gate of the series is connected to control the input to the triac. Switches connecting to the remaining inputs of each of the exclusive OR gates each can independently determine energization or de-energization of the light bulbs.
