A packaging assembly for a home appliance includes a base frame including a first plank and a second plank provided parallel to the first plank, and a pair of spring clips attached to the base frame. The pair of spring clips includes a right spring clip attached to a top surface of the first plank, and a left spring clip attached to a top surface of the second plank, wherein an axial extension direction of the right spring clip is parallel to an axial extension direction of the left spring clip, and wherein the pair of springs are configured to selectively accept a base rail of the home appliance therein.

A dishwashing appliance is provided having one or more sound abatement features for blocking sound transmission emanating from the appliance during operation. Spaces or gaps present between the dishwashing appliance and the cabinetry in which it is installed can be blocked by features having one or more chambers that attenuate the transmission of sound therefrom. Such sound abatement features can be readily incorporated into the design of a dishwashing appliance and provide a relatively inexpensive alternative to conventional designs.

Sound abatement for a dishwasher appliance

A dishwasher appliance having a rack assembly that can provide support for both large and small bowls is provided. The rack assembly includes tines, referred to herein as vertical members, that can hold both large and small bowls in a vertical orientation. The rack assembly may be used in a dishwasher to provide the upper rack, lower rack, or both.

A dishwasher rack assembly includes a bottom wall formed of a first set of spaced apart rods crossed by a second set of spaced apart rods to define an open lattice structure. At least one channel member is attached to respective one the rods. A plurality of tines are received within the channel member and are variably positional along the channel member so as to adjust spacing between the tines without adjusting the channel member relative to the rod.

A dishwasher rack assembly includes a bottom wall formed of spaced apart lateral rods crossed by spaced apart longitudinal rods to define an open lattice structure. A plurality of fixed vertical tines extend upward from the bottom wall and are arranged in pairs along the longitudinal or lateral rods of the bottom wall with a defined space between adjacent pairs of the fixed vertical tines. A frame structure is provided with a shape and size so as to slide along the bottom wall between the pairs of fixed vertical tines. A plurality of vertical tines extend upward from the frame structure and are arranged in pairs along the frame structure. A securement mechanism is configured between the frame structure and the bottom wall to accommodate relative movement and anchoring between the frame structure and the bottom wall for variable positioning of the frame structure tines relative to the pairs of fixed vertical tines.

A pitcher includes a container body defining a liquid storage cavity therein and having an open end and a cover removably coupled to the container body. The cover extends along the open end, and the cover defining a fill opening configured to receive a liquid therein. The fill opening is in communication with the liquid storage cavity. The pitcher also includes a lid assembly having a lid closing access to the fill opening. A slide mechanism is coupled to the lid, and the slide mechanism is slidably coupled to the cover.

A faucet mounted water filtration system includes a base defining an inlet and a plurality of outlets. The base at least partially defines a filter compartment configured to house a filter cartridge. A first valve assembly is positioned within the base and defines a first passage and a second passage. A valve stem is movably positioned within the first passage. With the valve stem in a first position, the first passage provides fluid communication between the inlet and a first outlet and with the valve stem in a second position the second passage provides fluid communication between the inlet and the filter compartment. A body is rotatably coupled to the base and includes a first cam configured to urge the valve stem from the first position to the second position as the body rotates with respect to the base.

A faucet mounted water filtration system includes a base having an inlet, a water receiving chamber, and at least one outlet. The inlet is configured to be coupled to a faucet. A body is coupled to the base. The body includes a filter compartment configured to house a filter cartridge. A cover is rotatably coupled to the body. A cam is operatively coupled to the cover. A valve operatively engages a surface of the cam. The cam is rotatable to move the valve to open and close a passageway to the filter compartment. A biasing element biases the cover to a default position.
