Examples are disclosed that relate to aligning a pressure sensitive adhesive to a body of a display device for attachment of a display module to the display device. One example provides an electronic display device comprising a body, the body comprising a wall and a deck extending inwardly from the wall. The deck comprises a first reference feature configured to interface with a first index feature on a pressure sensitive adhesive application fixture, and a second reference feature configured to interface with a second index feature on the pressure sensitive adhesive application fixture. The electronic display device further comprises a display module supported by the deck, and a pressure sensitive adhesive adhering the display module to the deck.

Placement of adhesive in display device

A connection device includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket has a base and a post with an opening therethrough and the second bracket has a base and a post with an opening therethrough. A pin is positioned through the opening of the first bracket and the opening of the second bracket to limit the movement of the first bracket relative to the second bracket in a first direction. A compressible member is positioned between at least a portion of the first bracket and at least a portion of the second bracket to limit the movement of the first bracket relative to the second bracket in a second direction.

Systems and methods for display integration

A computing device includes a housing having an inner surface, a first outer surface, a second outer surface, and a side extending between the first outer surface and the second outer surface. The computing device also includes a heat generating electronic device, a first heat spreader, and a second heat spreader. At least a portion of the first heat spreader abuts or is adjacent to the inner surface of the housing. The second heat spreader extends from a first position within the housing, at or adjacent to the heat generating electronic device to a second position within the housing. The second position is closer to the side of the housing than the first position. A first portion of the second heat spreader abuts the first heat spreader, and a second portion of the second heat spreader is at a distance from the first heat spreader.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for improved heat dissipation

Display module support techniques are described. In one or more implementations, an apparatus includes an external enclosure forming a cavity and a touch display module. The touch display module includes a touch panel assembly having one or more touch sensors and a display module to output a display through at least a portion of the touch panel assembly. The apparatus also includes a support that secures the touch display module to the external enclosure. The support is secured to the external enclosure using a reworkable connection.

Touchscreen computing devices are often assembled by applying an adhesive to an interface perimeter between a cover glass and a chassis. Occasionally, a device is de-bonded to troubleshoot errors in the functionality of the device. The adhesive often is resistant to releasing the bond between the cover glass and a chassis by mechanical force and the cover glass may be damaged during disassembly. Passive and/or active de-bonding aids facilitate transfer of thermal energy to the adhesive in a manner that avoids or minimizes the transfer of thermal energy to heat-sensitive components of the device.

An electronic device includes a case, an antenna supported by the case, a display module disposed within the case, a conductive chassis disposed within the case, the conductive chassis structurally supporting the display module, an electronics module disposed within the case such that the conductive chassis is positioned between the antenna and the electronics module, and an interconnect that electrically connects the conductive chassis and the case, the interconnect extending around the electronics module.

An ink level sensing system that exhibits good sensitivity is described herein. The system includes a first probe having a first active surface, a second probe having a second active surface facing the first active surface, a memory in which data indicative of a conductivity curve and command instructions are stored, and a processor configured to execute the command instructions to associate a level of fluid in a reservoir with a first signal indicative of the electrical coupling between the first active surface and the second active surface with reference to the data indicative of a conductivity curve.

A fluid transport apparatus facilitates flow of fluid from a source to a receptacle. The fluid transport apparatus includes a fluid transport conduit for transport of fluid through the conduit, the conduit being coupled between a fluid supply and a fluid receptacle, a compressor conduit proximate the fluid transport conduit along a portion of the fluid transport conduit between the fluid supply and the fluid receptacle, and a pump coupled to the compressor conduit for injecting fluid into the compressor conduit, and a vent that is operated to selectively enable pressurization and venting of the compressor conduit to compress and decompress the portion of the fluid transport conduit proximate the compressor conduit to pump fluid through the fluid transport conduit.

System and method for transporting fluid through a conduit

A fluid transport apparatus maintains temperature of a fluid transported through a conduit. The fluid transport apparatus includes a fluid transport conduit that is selectively deformed by a pressure within a compressor conduit and allowed to return to its original shape by venting the pressure through a venting valve. The alternating pressurization and release of pressure from the compressor conduit moves fluid through the fluid transport conduit. A thermal conductor is associated with the fluid transport conduit to maintain the temperature of the fluid in the fluid transport conduit within a predetermined range.

A fluid transport apparatus maintains temperature of a fluid transported through a conduit. The fluid transport apparatus includes a fluid transport conduit for transporting fluid, the fluid transport conduit having an inlet end that is coupled to a fluid supply and an outlet end that is coupled to a receiving port, a compressor conduit configured to pump fluid through the fluid transport conduit by pressurizing and venting the compressor conduit, and a thermal conductor configured to achieve a non-ambient temperature for the fluid within the fluid transport conduit as the compressor conduit is operated to move the fluid through the fluid transport conduit.

A needle-free injection device in which a gas cartridge or other source of pressurized gas is used to advance a piston and forcibly expel injectable fluid out through an injection orifice. When a gas cartridge is used, the gas cartridge may be moveable from an initial position to an actuating position in which gas is released to drive the injection, and a recoil inhibiter may be employed to prevent the gas cartridge from moving back to the initial position. A gas cartridge seal may be disposed on the gas cartridge and moveable with the gas cartridge to seal the gas cartridge against an interior wall of a gas cartridge housing. The needle-free injection device may also be configured so that sealing is compromised upon full advancement of the piston, so as to de-pressurize the device after delivery of an injection.
