An air-dirt separator adapted to reduce entrained and dissolved air and separate debris from fluid moving through the air-dirt separator is described in the present disclosure. The air-dirt separator includes a degasser unit adapted to reduce pressure in a cavity within the air-dirt separator to enable improved dissolved air reduction.

An expansion tank comprising a bladder style water storage tank and method of use. The expansion tank includes an alarm module to sense a flooded tank condition. The system also has the ability to sense a bladder over-extended condition. The expansion tank use includes a sonic alarm and/or a visual alarm and is used in combination with a boiler or related hot water system. Method steps using the described design are also included. The hydro-pneumatic expansion tank has important utility in HVAC, boiler and potable water systems.

A product stacking apparatus, and a method of using it, is provided, where the apparatus is located inline with a product conveyor, and includes a frame having at least one spanner connecting plates which together straddle the product conveyor, a drive roller, an infeed system driven by the drive roller, having carriers which move upstream to downstream relative to motion of the product conveyor, a hopper which receives a product from the infeed system, an automatic detainer which automatically opens the hopper so that a predetermined number of the products exits the hopper on the conveyor, an automatic dropgate mechanism, located between the infeed system and the hopper, which automatically releases the product into the hopper, and sensors which count products, allows for their accumulation and release, and prevents jamming of the product on the apparatus.

On-line package stacking apparatus and method

A beverage cooler arranged to complementarily receive and secure a coolant jug therewithin is provided, wherein a puncture tip is directed into the neck of the coolant jug to direct fluid flow therefrom into an outlet conduit. A drain conduit is provided permitting drainage of water runoff from melting ice and the like within the cooler structure.
