A structure for a vehicle includes a lower frame member and an upper frame member. A pillar extends from the lower frame member to the upper frame member and a step is carried by the pillar between the lower frame member and upper frame member.

Pillar mounted assist step

A door assembly includes a door frame, which generally defines a door opening. An assist handle is movably attached to the door frame. The assist handle is movable between a retracted position, proximal to the door frame, and a deployed position, distal from the door frame.

Integrated assist handle

A suspension strut includes a suspension strut bearing and a deflector seal. The suspension strut bearing has an upper portion mounted above a lower portion and a bearing seal mounted therebetween. The upper portion does not rotate with a steerable assembly while the lower portion does, with the upper portion including a lower surface adjacent to a seal opening. The deflector seal is elastomeric and is a toroidal shape, having a radially inner portion and a radially outer portion. The inner portion is secured against the lower portion of the strut bearing, and the outer portion is cantilevered outward from the inner portion to allow for elastic flexing of the outer portion. The outer portion allows for upward elastic flexing into contact with the lower surface of the upper portion of the strut bearing when a fluid or contaminant impinges upon a lower surface of the outer portion.

Suspension strut bearing deflector seal

A boneless meat product, including hams and other boneless meat, the meat being spirally sliced around an axis through the meat. The axis is created by the insertion of a temporary support member through the meat. The meat is mounted in meat slicing apparatus which rotates the meat. A slicer blade is introduced into the meat in a plane substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation while the meat is rotating. The slicer blade is then indexed linearly along an axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the meat, thereby effecting a spiral cut in the meat. The meat is removed from the apparatus following slicing operations and the support member removed from the meat.

Spirally sliced boneless meat product

An apparatus for slicing meats compromising an electrically driven meat chuck assembly for rotating the meat about a vertical axis, a circular slicer blade for cutting the meat, vertical indexing means for gradually moving the blade vertically, positioning means for moving the blade into slicing engagement and disengagement from the meat, a meat support means for slicing boneless meats, and a positioning stop to limit blade movement during boneless slicing operations. The indexing means include an electrically driven threaded drive shaft providing movement of the blade, and whereby upon disengagement of the blade from the meat, the relative respective positions there between are maintained. The positioning is pneumatically driven, whereby the force bringing the blade into engagement with the meat may be readily overcome manually so as to facilitate prevention of the blade cutting into bones or joints at the eccentrically oriented with respect to the axis of rotation of the meat.
