An electrical socket and pin connector. More particularly, the socket and pin are made from conductive material by stamping and forming. The socket includes a cylindrical mating portion defined by cantilever beams having one or more blades and wherein some blades include a rearwardly extending free end. The pin includes a mating portion having a bullet nose at one end and a wire barrel at another end.

An electrical connector for mechanically securing and electrically interconnecting a pair of electrical cables. More particularly, the connector includes a C-member defining cable-receiving channels and having an arcuate portion in the web section extending between the channels to define an interior space in communication with an offset from the channels. Also included is a tapered drive member which is advanced into the space to engage the cables positioned in the channels to secure and electrically interconnect them.

A solderless connector for terminating insulated wire. More particularly, the connector includes a wire receiving groove and pivotally mounted stripping arm which moves along the wire, stripping the insulation therefrom and electrically engaging the underlying conductor. A latch member restrains the stripping arm from regressive movement after stripping the wire.

An electrical connector including conductive contacts and a housing which comprises a support member, outwardly extending contact receiving shells attached thereto and resilient arms on the support member for mounting said connector to a bracket so that the connector may move in an x and y direction. More particularly, the resilient arms include means for being attached to the bracket and the support member includes slots for slidingly receiving rails extending outwardly from the bracket between which and on which the connector is movably mounted.

An electrical terminal having a coined rib for contact section rigidity and for increased crimp pressure against a wire in the wire barrel. The terminal, stamped and formed from thin metal stock, meets electrical and mechanical requirements and is lower in manufacturing costs.

This invention relates to electrical connectors and more particularly to a connector for compression-formed parallel, X- and T-tap connections. The connector disclosed herein is a single piece member having wire-receiving passages adjacent each end. Slots parallel to and extending outwardly from the passages through the end sections define walls or fingers which may be closed in towards each other and the passages to crimp wires which may be positioned therein.

An electrical connector comprising two inner members movably positioned between the legs of a U-shaped outer member with the facing surfaces of the inner members and legs having cooperating, passage-forming grooves in which conductors may be positioned. Upon driving the connector onto an edge of a metallic framework, the inner members are driven outwardly against the legs to crimp conductors which may be positioned in the passages. Teeth on the inwardly facing surfaces of the inner members are adapted to grip the edge to hold the connector thereon.

The present invention relates to a device which confines and restrains a small laboratory animal. The present invention further includes a hypodermic needle carrier which is movable in a vertical line to insert the needle into the animal's head, and further included are means for accurately positioning the needle over the point of entry.

The present invention relates to a support device for musical instruments. More particularly, it includes a device which is an integral part of the instrument and consists of a first ring member adapted to be fixed to the instrument, a second ring member adapted to support the instrument on the floor and hinge means connected to the first and second ring members whereby the second member may be rotated into a closed position against the instrument without interfering with the playing thereof.

Support device for musical instruments

The present invention relates to an ignitor assembly useful for detonating a charge of powder in an explosively actuated electrical connector. More particularly the ignitor consists of a shell member having a filled chamber propellant with an electrical heating wire extending through it and a conductive body member having a shell member-receiving cavity. An electrical circuit for heating the wire includes the conductive body and the electrical connector.

The present invention relates to a device for securing (joining or splicing) steel reinforcing bars; i.e., 'rebars', together, end-to-end or to provide a deadend connection to one end of a rebar. More particularly, the invention includes a rebar connection body having rebar-receiving openings at either end and two rows of spaced-apart parallel openings along the length of the body. The invention further includes U-shaped staples which are inserted in the parallel holes and forcefully driven onto the rebars, broaching such to create a secure mechanical connection between the body and rebars.
