A TPLO plate configured to accommodate flexible strands (flexible loops) attached to tissue to be attached to bone. The TPLO plate has one or more suture eyelets, to allow the user (surgeon) to pass a flexible strand through the eyelets and attach/reattach the tissue to the plate at the anatomical location, and to improve the rotational stability of the joint or bone. The eyelets may have various shapes, forms and configurations and may be provided on or within a surface of the TPLO bone plate in any number, depending on the characteristics of the fractured bone or bone segments, or of the plate design. The eyelets preferably receive one or more flexible strands.

An elbow arthroplasty system having a ball and a socket. The ball is configured for coupling to at least one member of one of the following groups: (i) a humerus, and (ii) a radius, an ulna, or both of the radius and the ulna. The socket is configured for coupling to at least one member of the other of the following groups: (i) the humerus, and (ii) the radius, the ulna, or both of the radius and the ulna. The socket defines a cavity that is configured to receive at least a portion of the ball. The ball may be a spheroid, an ellipsoid, a sphere, or a portion of one of the foregoing with a convex surface. System, apparatus, and method for elbow arthroplasty

A wireline pressure control string for use in performing wireline operations on a hydrocarbon well is disclosed. The wireline pressure control string includes a pumpdown assembly having a pumpdown sub and at least one pumpdown valve. The pumpdown sub includes a body and a through bore which extends axially through the body and is fluidly connectable to the well bore. The pumpdown valve includes an inlet which is fluidly connectable to a pumpdown fluid source and an outlet which is fluidly connected to the through bore. The wireline pressure control string may also include a connector positioned below the pumpdown assembly for releasably securing the wireline pressure control string to the wellhead assembly. In certain embodiments, the pumpdown valve may be connected to the pumpdown fluid source with a flexible flowline.

The present invention is an apparatus and method for use in a treatment for prevention of arthrofibrosis that includes a first and a second substantially L-shaped frames, each L-shaped frame having a first member and a second member extending from the first member in a substantially perpendicular direction and terminating in a first end, a fixed plate extending between the first members of the L-shaped frames, the fixed plate being parallel with the first members of the L-shaped frames, a movable plate pivotally coupled to the first ends of the first members of the L-shaped frames with, a pneumatic piston coupled to the movable plate and the fixed plate, a hand operated valve operatively coupled to the pneumatic piston and a goniometer coupled to the movable plate and one of the L-shaped frames, the goniometer adapted and configured to indicate the angle between the movable plate and the fixed plate.

Knee flexion device and associated method of use

A diverter valve which includes a valve body, an inlet, a plurality of outlets, an internal cavity to which the inlet and the outlets are connected, and a valve member which is movably positioned in the cavity. The valve member includes a through bore which is configured to connect the inlet with a corresponding one of the outlets for each of a plurality of operative positions of the valve member. In operation of the diverter valve, the valve member is movable between its operative positions to selectively connect the inlet with any one of the outlets.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for tissue, such as an allograft, storage and preservation for extended periods of time at room temperature in a sterile tissue culture chamber. The invention further provides a process for maintaining the sterility of tissue using the apparatus as described.

In one embodiment, a cutting guide is disclosed for use in a surgical procedure to removed damaged tissue from a patient and form a recipient site configured and dimensioned to receive a donor graft. The cutting guide includes a first arm that abuts a section of the damaged tissue to be removed, and a second arm including a hole and a slot that receives a cutting implement, the first arm and the slot defining a distance therebetween corresponding to a desired dimension of the recipient site. In another embodiment, a cutting guide is disclosed for use in forming a donor graft from donor tissue. The cutting guide includes a body that receives the donor tissue, and a shaping member that is rotatably secured to the body. The shaping member includes at least one vane that shapes the donor tissue so as to form the donor graft.
