Creped fibrous structures

A fibrous structure. The structure may include a plurality of continuous or semi-continuous knuckles extending from portions of the surface of the fibrous structure in a parallel path, wherein the plurality of knuckles may be separated by adjacent continuous or semi-continuous pillows. Each knuckle may comprise a plurality of discrete pillows, the plurality of discrete pillows may be arranged in a spaced configuration along the path of each knuckle; alternatively, each pillow may comprise a plurality of discrete knuckles, the plurality of discrete knuckles may be arranged in a spaced configuration along the path of each pillow.

Differential pillow height fibrous structures

The present invention relates to a method for airborne particle contamination control, comprising: creating a simulation by modeling a turbulent airflow in an environment that includes an equipment of interest; plotting a flow parameter on the simulation to visualize a flow field of air according to a current design; creating an injection point on the simulation for particles in the environment; determining a particle concentration of the particles; determining, by a computing device and from the particle concentration, whether the current design provides contamination control; in response to determining that the current design does not provide contamination control, creating a modified design; and providing the modified design for implementation. The steps of the method include providing a virtual body model, providing a virtual absorbent article model, providing virtual simulation software, running a virtual simulation of deformation of the virtual absorbent article model in proximity with the virtual body model, running a virtual simulation of the fluid balance of the virtual absorbent article model in proximity with the virtual body model, coupling the virtual simulation of deformation of the virtual absorbent article model and the virtual simulation of the fluid balance of the virtual absorbent article model, and determining absorbent article effectiveness of the virtual absorbent article model in proximity with the virtual body model.
