An antenna device includes a housing defining an interior cavity, a UHF antenna element, two VHF antenna elements and two WiFi antenna elements. The antenna elements are mounted to the housing and are selectively adjustable between a vertical, upright position and a folded, horizontal position. The antenna elements are situated on the housing to provide an omni-directional antenna pattern for receiving broadcast signals. Antenna circuitry provided within the interior cavity of the housing receives signals from the antenna elements and generates an output signal that is provided to at least one output connector mounted on the housing or on one or more signal cables extending therefrom and to an external electronic device connected thereto.

Omni-directional television antenna with WiFi reception capability

An antenna device includes a housing defining an interior cavity, and an RF antenna situated within the housing. The RF antenna receives high definition television signals broadcast over the air. An MHL connector is mounted on the housing. An external audio or video streaming signal device is coupleable to the MHL connector. An MHL to HDMI converter circuit situated within the interior cavity of the housing receives signals from the external audio or video streaming signal device and processes these signals into an HDMI signal format. The HDMI signals are provided on an HDMI output connector mounted on the housing. RF signals from the RF antenna are provided to an RF coaxial cable connector also mounted on the housing.

Low profile omni-directional planar antenna with WiFi video streaming capability through broadband network

A USB wall plate charger for charging an external electronic device is mountable to a common 120 volt AC wall outlet, and includes a power supply to convert the 120 volts AC to +5 volts DC, and a charging profile configuration circuit. A charging profile selection switch is provided for the user to select a desired charging profile that is compatible with the electronic device to be charged.

A broadband, low profile, ultra-thin and flexible, planar wire antenna includes an inverted triangular section and a horizontal bar section centered at the apex of the triangular section. Tab elements are provided on opposite ends of the bar section to increase the end effect of the antenna. Furthermore, 45 degree tabbed elements are joined to the top corners of the triangular section and extend in opposite directions therefrom. The tabbed elements added to the triangular section and to the bar section increase the overall electrical length of the antenna to simulate a physically larger size antenna.

Ultra-thin, flexible, broadband low profile planar wire antenna

A current selectable USB charger includes a USB (universal serial bus) connector, a crossover switch, a pair of voltage dividers and a power supply. The power supply provides preferably a +5 volt DC voltage to the pair of voltage dividers. The pair of voltage dividers includes a first voltage divider and a second voltage divider, each being formed of a pair of series-connected resistors. The voltage on the junction of the series-connected resistors of the first voltage divider is selectively provided, through the crossover switch, to one of the D&#x2212; pin and the D+ pin of the USB connector. The voltage on the junction of the series-connected resistors of the second voltage divider is selectively provided, through the crossover switch, to one of the D+ pin and the D&#x2212; pin of the USB connector.

Current selectable USB charger

A variable power device in a form of a power strip includes a plurality of power outlets for powering electrical devices connected thereto. A current sensing circuit is electrically coupled to each power outlet and senses current flowing through the power outlet and drawn by an electrical device connected to the outlet. A power control circuit selectively provides one of a standby mode power signal and an active mode power signal to a respective power outlet in response to the feedback signal from the current sensing circuit associated with the power outlet.

Automatic variable power outlet for energy saving power source

In a television receiver with a regulated power supply that is responsive to the state of a remote on/off command signal, a power oscillator is coupled to an unregulated direct voltage source for developing an alternating input voltage of a frequency determined by the frequency of operation of the oscillator. The oscillator is provided with a frequency control terminal that controls the oscillator frequency, depending upon a control signal applied to the terminal. A ferroresonant or self-regulating circuit is energized by the alternating input voltage to produce a regulated supply voltage that in turn energizes a load circuit within the television receiver. A remote control circuit responsive to the on/off command signal applies a control signal to the frequency control terminal of the oscillator such that during the on-state of the command signal the oscillator operates at a frequency that permits normal, ferroresonant operation of the self-regulating circuit and that during the off-state of the command signal, changes the oscillator frequency to a different one that is high enough to disable the ferroresonant operation of the self-regulating circuit. The power supply is thereby placed in the standby condition wherein the television display load circuit is substantially deenergized.
