A cosmetic applicator for a fluid material which comprises a container and a dispenser. Generally, the dispenser works by an actuating mechanism. In particular, a user depresses an ergonomically shaped top portion, which then actuates a pump that pumps a fluid cosmetic material from the lower portion of the container by means of a conduit through an aperture. The fluid cosmetic material pumped through the conduit and the aperture from the lower portion of the container rises through the conduit and saturates the closed cell sponge tip. The user then glides the closed cell sponge tip across her skin to apply the fluid cosmetic material. The cosmetic applicator is hermetically sealed with a cap, which can be removed by the user.

Cosmetic applicator for fluid material

A dispenser for fluid material such as cosmetic materials in the nature of mascara and the like is operative by one hand manipulation. The dispenser includes an internal reservoir for storage of an applicator attached to a post reciprocally received within a sleeve. A slider device is attached to the post having a portion accessible by the user. By one hand manipulation of the slider device, the applicator may be projected from the dispenser for use and retracted for storage. A closure member at one end of the dispenser may be opened and closed by manual manipulation or automatically by coupling to the slider device. Internal seals within the dispenser prevent evaporation of liquid and/or other volatile components of the fluid materials stored within the dispenser.

Dispenser for fluid materials

A container for storing makeup is disclosed. The container includes a cover having a first interface, the first interface having a first periphery. The container also includes a base for holding a cosmetic substance, the base having a second interface, the second interface having a second periphery corresponding to the first periphery. The container also includes a generally hermetic seal providing a channel associated with the first interface and a peripheral rim associated with the second interface. The container includes a discharge for reducing the air pressure integral with the first or the second interface. The first interface and the second interface provide a substantially hermetic seal when the cover is closed with respect to the base.

A dispenser includes a holder/carrier for products of stick-like form to enable application of a wide variety of materials. A plurality of resilient/flexible barbs having spring-like properties extend into the holder/carrier for embedding into the received material. The barbs preclude dislodgment of the stick-like product which may occur due to vibration caused during shipment or subsequent use of the dispenser.

A compact for holding a cosmetic composition under substantially air tight conditions when in the closed position, comprising a base having a compartment with side walls for storing the cosmetic composition, and threaded engaging means on the outer peripheral surface of the side walls, a cover having threaded engaging means on the inner surface thereof, capable of mating with the threaded engaging means on the outer peripheral surface of the compartment side walls to close the compact, a sealing means between the inner surface of the cover means and the top peripheral surface of the compartment side walls which provides substantially air-tight conditions when the compact is in the closed position, a cosmetic product dispensing means fitted on top of the cosmetic composition stored in the compartment of the base means, having a plurality of aperatures which permit the cosmetic composition to be released through the aperatures upon application of pressure to the dispensing means.

Hermetic compact case

A mascara container has a bottle for receiving a supply of mascara and defining a bottle neck and opening. A cap is removably secured to the bottle neck at a closure end of the cap, the cap having a comb end extending from the closure end to a top end of the cap and defining a comb slot therebetween. An applicator is mounted to the closure end of the cap and extends through the bottle opening when the cap is secured on the bottle neck. A comb has teeth sized for combing eyelashes, and the comb pivotally mounted to the comb end of the cap for pivotal movement between a closed position with the teeth stored in the comb slot and an open position with the teeth deployed for combing action. The comb is removably retained in the comb slot by snap engagement and is provided with an extending grip for manipulating the comb.

A dispenser for a cosmetic stick comprising (a) a removable cap in the form of a sleeve having an open upper end, for containing the cosmetic stick, (b) a base in the form of a sleeve having an open upper end, (c) fitted inside the base sleeve, an internal sleeve open at both ends for containing the cosmetic stick, (d) a product advancing mechanism comprising a platform which forms the bottom closure of the internal tubular sleeve, the platform having an upper surface and a lower surface, and (e) a porous material affixed to the upper surface of the platform and securing the cosmetic stick to the platform.

A dispenser for a cosmetic stick comprising (a) a removable cap in the form of a sleeve having an open upper end, for containing the cosmetic stick, (b) a base in the form of a sleeve having an open upper end, (c) fitted inside the base sleeve, an internal sleeve open at both ends for containing the cosmetic stick, (d) a product advancing mechanism comprising a platform which forms the bottom closure of the internal tubular sleeve, the platform having an upper surface having two protrusions affixed thereto, and a lower surface, and (e) a porous material affixed to the upper surface of the platform and securing the cosmetic stick to the platform.
