A method of reinforcing a biological construct according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, attaching a suture loop/needle construct to a reinforcement material and stitching the reinforcement material to a biological construct to form a reinforced biological construct. The reinforcement material is attached to the suture loop/needle construct prior to approximating the reinforcement material to the biological construct.

Methods of making reinforced soft tissue grafts with suture loop/needle constructs

Methods and drill guide systems that provide internalization of the biceps tendon with use of fixation devices such as the Arthrex BicepsButton&#x2122; or Pectoralis Button tensioned outside a smaller converged drill hole. The technique converges two angled drill holes and use the button to fixate a reinforced (whipstitched) biceps tendon into a single bone versus stabilizing two bones. The biceps tendon is being pulled into the larger of the drilled holes and fixed by the button outside of the smaller drilled hole.

Surgical methods for stabilizing a joint are disclosed. The methods aid in surgical repairs by allowing for quick and reproducible repairs to be made. A bone tunnel is formed anteriorly/posteriorly in clavicle, and a bone tunnel is formed superiorly in acromion. At least one cannulated insert is provided into one or both of bone tunnels to protect the bone from abrasions caused by a flexible construct. A flexible construct is passed through the acromion tunnel and the clavicle tunnel. An attachment device may then be positioned on at least one side of the clavicle and/or acromion tunnel, and the flexible construct is attached to the attachment device.

The reinforced construct may be attached to any fixation device and/or any bone tunnel.

Apparatus and methods for fixation of bone to bone, or soft tissue to bone. The apparatus comprises two fixation devices (for example, two buttons) joined by a biologic material (for example, a graft or tendon). Each fixation device is provided with at least one opening that allows the passage of the flexible material attached to the biologic material. The button may be formed, for example, of metal, PEEK or PLLA.
