A system for filtering breathing air and apparatus for accomplishing the same. The invention describes a nasal filtration system which can be inserted into the nasal cavities. The filters comprise cavities through which air is inhaled or exhaled. The filter performs as a mechanical filter to catch and prevent the inhalation of undesirable particulate. Further, the filter comprises a disinfectant agent, such as colloidal silver, which kills germs, bacteria, and viruses to prevent the spreading of disease.

A method of making a 2-aminoimidazole-functional silicone elastomer includes forming a mixture by combining a silicone elastomer base material having vinyl functionality, a 2-aminoimidazole-functional monomer or a 2-aminoimidazole-functional oligomer, and a free-radical initiator. Optionally, one or more cross-linkers, pigments, vinyl polymer, non-functional silicone fluid, or any combination thereof may also be included in the mixture.

A self-coiling dent guard for protecting vehicles and other objects from damage caused by unwanted collisions is disclosed. The guard is comprised of a main body adapted to absorb the impact of colliding objects. A bistable spring strip is integrated within the main body of the guard, thus giving the guard its self-coiling properties. When not in use, a user may cause the guard to coil so as to be easily stored. A magnetic strip is attached to the length of the main body such that the guard may be removably attached to a vehicle or other object. A layer of felt covering the bottom of the guard protects the vehicle from being scratched when the guard is applied or removed.

An output-matched LDMOS RF power transistor device includes a semiconductor die having a plurality of interdigitated electrodes formed thereon, the electrodes each having respective input terminals and output terminals. An input lead is coupled to a first terminal of an input matching capacitor by a first plurality of conductors (e.g., bond wires), with a second terminal of the matching capacitor coupled to a ground. The first terminal of the matching capacitor is also coupled to the electrode input terminals by a second plurality of conductors. A conductive island isolated from the ground is coupled to the electrode output terminals by a third plurality of conductors. Output matching of the device is provided by a shunt inductance formed by a fourth plurality of conductors, which couple a first terminal of an output blocking capacitor the conductive island, with a second terminal of the blocking capacitor coupled to the ground. An output lead is coupled to the conductive island by a fifth plurality of conductors. In particular, the conductive island is disposed adjacent the semiconductor die, and the output blocking capacitor is disposed between the conductive island and output lead, such that transmission inductance through the respective third and fourth pluralities of conductors coupling the electrode output terminals to the blocking capacitor is sufficiently small to allow for output impedance matching of the transistor device at relatively high operating frequencies.

Knit tubular cover for beverage container

A knit cover for receiving a beverage container is disclosed which is formed as a single piece seamless rib knit sleeve having an integrally knit outwardly bulging band encircling the upper medial portion of the sleeve for aiding in preventing slipping of the cover through the hand of the holder of the beverage container, and for providing a decorative appearance. The knit cover acts as a heat insulating sleeve, and the lower or bottom portion thereof conforms to and underlies at least the outer peripheral portion of the bottom of the beverage container to act as a coaster for the container. The knit cover may be economically knit on a circular rib knitting machine, and readily folds or flattens so it may be economically shipped and easily stored while not in use.
