A vehicle includes a seating assembly attached to a vehicle interior. A seat is rotationally operable relative to a seatback. A retention device is selectively positionable in a stored position or a cargo storage position and extends between the seatback and a floor area disposed adjacent to the seating assembly. The seat is selectively positionable in a seating position or a stadium position. The retention device in the cargo storage position, the seat in the stadium position, and a floor at least partially define an enclosure configured to secure cargo to the floor and the seat.

Retention device for vehicle seat

A vehicle storage compartment is provided herein. The vehicle storage compartment includes a frame including a cross member. A track system having first and second tracks is coupled to first and second sides of the frame, respectively. A rotatable member is coupled to the cross member and configured to move from a closed position to an open position. A cover coupled to the cross member and configured to extend along the first and second tracks from a first position to a second position.

A vehicle storage compartment is provided herein. The vehicle storage compartment includes first and second vertical members coupled to a first edge portion of a base and connected by a cross member. The first and second vertical members and the cross member define an aperture accessible from a vehicle-rearward location. The vehicle storage compartment includes a removable floor positioned on base.

A seating assembly is attached to the floor and includes a seat that is rotationally operable relative to a seatback. A retention device is attached to the seat. When the seat is pivoted upright to a stadium position, the retention device is selectively deployable from a stored position to a cargo storage position that defines an enclosure at least partially defined by the seat and the floor.

A barrier partition is disposed above the utility wall. A floor member is disposed below the cabinet assembly and the barrier partition. The floor member includes a spare tire access panel.

Modular interior cargo management assembly in police or commercial vehicle

A stowage retainer is provided for retaining an object, such as a portable electronic device, in a vehicle. The retainer includes a body having at least a bottom wall and side walls. The retainer also includes one or more flexible retention arms extending from the body for retaining a device in the retainer. The flexible retention arms each comprise a flexible inner wire and a soft outer covering material. The flexible retention arms are bendable to reform into a desired configuration to retain a device in the retainer.

Flexible arm stowage retainer for vehicle

A mounting bracket is attached to an instrument panel frame, and an aperture is formed in an upper surface of an instrument panel housing in alignment with the bracket to provide a hardpoint for attaching an adapter module. The adapter module is removably secured to the mounting bracket and is provided with component mounting features for securing electrical components such as a radio or radar device. Vehicle electric wiring internal to the instrument panel housing is easily connected with wiring associated with the components. The apparatus allows cost-effective and efficient customization of electrical components mounted to a vehicle instrument panel.

Equipment mounting module for instrument panel

An interior system of a vehicle includes an instrument panel substrate having a driver side, a passenger side, and a center section between the driver and passenger sides. The instrument panel substrate has an opening on the passenger side. A trim panel is mounted to the instrument panel substrate covering the opening and comprising a connector hub having a plurality of electrical connectors for mobile electronic devices. In one embodiment, at least a portion of the trim panel is releasable and pivotable after mounting in order to access a rear side of the trim panel. The trim panel may further include a cradle on the rear side to receive a printer, a paper holder on the rear side to receive and supply paper for the printer, and an elongated slot aligned with the cradle for feeding printed paper from the printer to a front side of the trim panel.

Vehicular trim panel with storage and interfacing of electronic devices

A seat integrated tether system for use in a vehicle for the secure placement of an article on a vehicle seat. One or more retractable or extendable tethers are adapted for attachment to the side of the vehicle seat. By use of the system with the front passenger seat of a vehicle the driver may have ready access to the contents of the retained article, which may be an item storage article such as an open top bag, case or storage net.

Seat integrated tether system

A control panel includes controllers in the form of push buttons supported by an elastomeric switch pad over an electroluminescent lamp panel. The electroluminescent panel includes circuits formed by chargeable areas which register with optical indicia carried by the buttons and transmitted through openings in the elastomeric layer. The elastomeric layer includes pads which resiliently urge the buttons to a rest position at which contacts carried by the elastomeric pad are spaced apart from terminal conductors on a printed wiring board. A peripheral wall of the pad formed with the elastomeric layer is supported by a tactile membrane which permits depression of the button to engage the contact against the terminal conductors of the printed wiring board, and returning the button to the rest position. The control panel controls that operate in response to audio system operating modes, for example, the controls related to a cassette player, can be identified by different color or intensity of light depending on the drive circuits applied to the chargeable areas formed on the electroluminescent lamp panel.

In an electronic position encoder (or other panel control) of the type having a shaft-retracted position for storage and a shaft-extended position for adjustment, an anti-backlash coupling substantially eliminates backlash between a rotor and a shaft. The anti-backlash coupling includes a first wedge member fixedly coupled to the shaft and a second wedge member fixedly coupled to the rotor. The second wedge member is adapted to mate with the first wedge member when the shaft is in the extended position.
