Embodiments for port reconfiguration for passive intermodulation interference mitigation are presented herein. A base station device comprises a signal processing component comprising a passive intermodulation interference component and an antenna configuration component. The passive intermodulation interference component determines passive intermodulation interference corresponding to uplink signals that have been received, via a configurable cellular antenna array of the base station device, from respective wireless devices of a group of wireless devices that have been communicatively coupled to the base station device. The antenna configuration component selects a defined configuration of a group of cellular antenna ports of the configurable cellular antenna array to facilitate a reduction of the passive intermodulation interference corresponding to the uplink signals.

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for a device identification message embedded in a packetized communication. A computing device can create a device identification message based on identification information associated with the computing device. The computing device can encode the device identification message using a compact code to generate an encoded device identification message including a plurality of elements associated with the compact code. The computing device can fragment the encoded device identification message into the plurality of elements and add a respective element to each of a plurality of packetized communications of the computing device. The computing device can send the packetized communications, which can be received by a device and used by the device to mitigate interference caused by the computing device.

Embedded device identification information in packetized communications

The described technology is generally directed towards transmitting content in a guard band (marginal/edge) spectrum, in which the power level corresponds to a frequency associated with the transmission. One or more criteria such as a desired quality of service level of the content to transmit, measured noise data and so on are used to select a guard band frequency/power level for the transmission. The content transmission within this spectrum, at a lower downlink sector power level that protects adjacent channel users, allows delivery of multicast/broadcast content to a broad population of devices in an area, for example, and frees up primary carrier channels for other communications such as voice and high speed data communications.

Further, the method can include absorbing the first electromagnetic signal into a first portion of the portions of radio frequency absorbent material&#x2014;the first portion comprising a baffle that is adjacent to a first segment of the radio frequency absorbent material, and the baffle comprising a metallic element that alters a radio frequency propagation of the first electromagnetic signal from the central chamber into the radio frequency absorbent material.
