A bar pin bushing assembly including a bar pin having at least one end with at least one bore to receive a fastener, the at least one bore extending through the at least one end, the bar pin having a central portion having a diameter that is greater than a width or diameter of the at least one end of the bar pin, a compressible rubber section positioned around the central portion of the bar pin, the compressible rubber section further extending around downwardly tapering surfaces adjacent the central portion of the bar pin, an outer metal shell mold bonded to the compressible rubber section, a first disc insert positioned over a first end of the outer metal shell, a second disc insert positioned over a second end of the outer metal shell, and a tubular outer metal wall positioned over the outer metal shell, the first disc insert, and the second disc insert.

Bar pin bushing for vehicle suspension

A bar pin bushing assembly for connecting components including a bar pin having at least one end with at least one bore to receive a fastener, the bar pin having a central portion having a diameter that is greater than a width or diameter of the at least one end of the bar pin, a compressible rubber section having a uniform thickness positioned around the central portion of the bar pin, the compressible rubber section further extending around downwardly tapering surfaces adjacent the central portion of the bar pin, a plurality of outer metal shells mold bonded to the compressible rubber section, wherein when the bushing assembly is inserted into a hub, the plurality of outer metal shells are configured to radially compress the compressible rubber section to provide a precompressed bushing assembly. A method of assembling the bar pin bushing assembly is also disclosed.

A chassis skirt mounting assembly () for a vehicle having a tank () and a chassis skirt () includes a tank strap bracket () attached to the tank, the tank strap bracket having a first adjustment slot () with a first length dimension. An adjustment bracket () is attached to the chassis skirt () and has a second adjustment slot () with a second length dimension oriented generally 90-degrees offset from the first length dimension of the first adjustment slot (). Independently adjustable chassis skirt mounting assembly

A three piece belly-band crossmember is provided which may be installed as a single assembly and from which the center subassembly may be removed after installation, allowing access to the vehicle powertrain. The crossmember maintains integral strength as a result of a tab and slot arrangement and overlapping frame mounting holes between its three subassemblies. Suspension mounting crossmember with integrated cab mounts for vehicle having front multilink suspension

An assembly which includes a fastener assembly that clamps together two or more clamped components between clamping structures of the fastener assembly. One of the clamped components that the fastener assembly clamps together with the other clamped components is a clamp-force-check component that defines a fastener hole through itself. The clamp-force-check component is disposed adjacent one of the clamping structures of the fastener assembly. A fastener shaft of the fastener assembly extends through the fastener hole defined through the clamp-force-check component. The clamp-force-check component has an outer perimeter of such a shape that a wrench may engage the outer perimeter of the clamp-force-check component and apply a torque thereto.
