The present disclosure relates to aggregating and sharing wellness data. The wellness data can be received by a user device from any number of sensors external or internal to the user device, from a user manually entering the wellness data, or from other users or entities. The user device can securely store the wellness data on the user device and transmit the wellness data to be stored on a remote database. A user of the device can share some or all of the wellness data with friends, relatives, caregivers, healthcare providers, or the like. The user device can further display a user's wellness data in an aggregated view of different types of wellness data. Wellness data of other users can also be viewed if authorizations from those users have been received.

Devices, methods and graphical user interfaces for manipulating user interfaces based on fingerprint sensor inputs are provided. While a display of an electronic device with a fingerprint sensor displays a first user interface, the device may detect movement of a fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor. In accordance with a determination that the movement of the fingerprint is in a first direction, the device allows navigating through the first user interface, and in accordance with a determination that the movement of the fingerprint is in a second direction different from the first direction, the device allows displaying a second user interface different from the first user interface on the display.

A direct retinal projector may include a gaze tracking system that tracks position of a subject's pupil and automatically adjusts projection of a scanned light field so that the light field enters the pupil. A control loop adjusts a scanning mirror to substantially center an IR beam on a position sensing detector (PSD). In so doing, the scanning mirror is correctly positioned so that the scanned light field from the projector enters the subject's pupil. In addition, a direct retinal projector may include an adjustable focusing element that adjusts focus of a combined light beam generated by a projector as the light beam is scanned to an ellipsoid mirror that reflects the light beam to the subject's pupil. The focusing of the scanned beam may be adjusted as the beam is scanned across the azimuth angle of the curved ellipsoid mirror.

Some embodiments provide a vehicle climate control system for controlling climate conditions in various cabin regions of a vehicle cabin, where the climate control system is configured to control one or more vehicle components to change the set of climate conditions associated with one or more cabin regions to approximate a set of optimal comfort conditions. The climate control system controls various vehicle components to control climate conditions, including window assemblies, sunroof assemblies, etc. The climate control system determines optimal comfort conditions which optimize perceived temperature of various occupant body parts and maintain various climate characteristics within one or more sets of thresholds. Output configurations of various vehicle components can be determined based at least in part upon determined optimal comfort conditions of various cabin regions. Output configurations can be generated based at least in part upon various control mode priorities.

Climate control

Electronic devices may contain electrical systems in which electrical components are mounted on a substrate such as a printed circuit board. The electrical components may include surface mount technology components. Multiple surface mount technology components may be stacked on top of each other and beside each other to form an electrical component that minimizes the amount of area that is consumed on a printed circuit board. Noise suppression circuits and other circuits may be implemented using stacked surface mount technology components. Surface mount technology components placed on the printed circuit board may be pushed together and subsequently injection molded to form packed component groups. An integrated circuit may be mounted to the printed circuit board via an interposer and may cover components mounted to the printed circuit board. An integrated circuit may be mounted over a recessed portion of the printed circuit board on which components are mounted.

The described embodiments relate generally to electronic devices and more particularly to methods for selectively encapsulating circuit boards and other electronic components contained within electronic devices. A first encapsulation layer can be limited to specific regions of a circuit board using a variety of processes including molding, laser ablation, etching, milling, and the like. Secondary assembly steps can then take place in the regions where the encapsulation layer is removed. In some embodiments, secondary encapsulants having various thermal, electrical, and optical characteristics can fill openings left in the first encapsulation layer to aid in the operation of underlying components.

Methods for transparent encapsulation and selective encapsulation

Electronic components on a substrate may be shielded using electromagnetic shielding structures. Insulating materials may be used to provide structural support and to help prevent electrical shorting between conductive materials and the components. The shielding structures may include compartments formed using metal fences that surround selected components or by injection molding plastic. The shielding structures may be formed using metal foil wrapped over the components and the substrate. Electronic components may be tested using test posts or traces to identify components that are faulty. The test posts or traces may be deposited on the substrate and may be used to convey test signals between test equipment and the components. After successful testing, the test posts may be permanently shielded. Alternatively, temporary shielding structures may be used to allow testing of individual components before an electronic device is fully assembled.

Finger stylus

A orifice fitting for measuring fluid flow in fluid pipelines has a seal mechanism to seal the orifice plate to the orifice fitting body. The orifice fitting has an orifice plate carrier which moves downward into a seat slot to position an orifice plate in the fluid flow. An annular seal mounts to the orifice plate assembly for engaging and sealing against the downstream side of the seat slot. A retaining ring mounts to an upstream side of the plate carrier. Threads on the retaining ring allow the ring to be adjusted to set the overall width of the plate carrier assembly to provide an interference fit in the seat slot. Set screws in the retaining ring bear against the orifice plate, which in turn bears against the seal member.

An orifice fitting has a slide valve seal strip of increased sealing area. The orifice fitting has a body with an upper chamber and a lower chamber, separated by a slot. A plate carrier will move an orifice plate from the upper chamber, through the lower chamber, and down into a flow passage below the lower chamber. A slide valve carrier will open and close the slot between the upper and lower chambers. A seal strip locates on the slide valve carrier for sealing against the seat of the slot. The seal strip has on opposite sides a pair of outward extending flanges. Each flange overlies and contacts a shoulder formed on the upper side of the slide valve carrier. The seal strip has a lower section that locates within the shoulders.

A orifice fitting for measuring gas flow in gas pipelines has an energized seal. The orifice fitting has a plate carrier which moves downward into a seat slot to position an orifice plate in the gas flow. An annular seal mounts to the plate carrier for engaging a downstream side of the seat slot. The seal is energized or pressed outwardly by hydraulic fluid pressure. The plate carrier has a chamber containing hydraulic fluid and a piston. A pin protrudes outward. The orifice fitting slide valve carrier engages and pushes the pin downward as the slide valve carrier moves to the closed position.

A gaging device will measure the widths between opposed seat faces in an orifice fitting. The orifice fitting has a body with flow passages for connecting into a pipeline. A seat slot locates in the flow passage. A carrier will move from an upper chamber in the body downward into the seat slot. When gaging, deformable plugs will be mounted to the carrier. The plugs have dimensions that are greater than the width of the slot. Each plug will deform as the carrier moves into the seat slot. When the carrier is removed from the seat slot, the plugs can be measured to determine the widths of the seat slot at various points.
