Pulsed field electroporation systems and methods

A method, computer program product, and system are disclosed. The method, when implemented in a computer system, includes obtaining patient information (where the patient information comprises symptom information), and identifying a medication. The medication is identified by searching a medication information database using the symptom information.

Method and system for relevance-based medication search

A nasal splint and methods for using such splints are provided. The nasal splint may include an elongate generally planar member comprising first and second ends, and a first outer surface and an opposite second outer surface; a tubular airway extending along the first outer surface at least partially between the first and second ends, thereby defining a lumen having an opening adjacent the first end; and a structure on one of the elongate member and tubular airway adjacent the first end supporting a feature that is spaced apart from the first outer surface and configured to support a suture across the opening when the suture is directed through the elongate member adjacent the first end and the feature.

Devices and methods for nasal splinting

An apparatus that includes an absorber, a positioner, and an estimator, where the positioner and estimator are coupled to the absorber. The absorber includes absorbent material configured to capture nasal drainage. The positioner places the absorber in proximity to a person's nose. The estimator provides an indication of an amount of drainage captured by the absorber.

Nasal drip pad

An apparatus that includes a container portion and a coupler portion. The container and coupler are, in one embodiment, mated via an adapter that includes a one-way valve. The coupler includes a second one-way valve. In use, a fluid source, such as a vial, is connected to the coupler. An air source, such as a syringe is also connected to the coupler. Air from the syringe is introduced to the vial via the second one-way valve. The second one-way valve prevents fluid from the vial from being drawn into the syringe. Introduction of air from the syringe into the vial forces fluid from the vial into the container via the first one-way valve. The first one-way valve prevents the fluid from escaping the container.

Safety fluid dispenser

An apparatus and method for anesthetizing various portions of a patient's nasal sinuses. For example, a kit can be provided that includes a first agent configured to modulate a rate of absorption of a subsequently-applied topical agent by one or more nasal structures. The kit also includes a first applicator configured to apply the first agent to a first portion of the one or more nasal structures. The kit also includes a second agent configured to anesthetize the first portion of the one or more nasal structures subsequent to application of the first agent and a second applicator configured to apply the second agent to the second portion of the one or more nasal structures.
