Embodiments of the present invention are used in a token based financial transaction system, whereby individual tokens associated with one or more financial accounts provided to one or more third parties. Embodiments credit an amount of a virtual currency in at least one bank account of a customer, wherein the at least one bank account has an associated amount of funds that is increased by the credit of the amount of virtual currency; generate a payment token associated with the at least one bank account of the customer; receive a transaction request to process a transaction using the token; determine that the transaction request is associated with a transaction having a transaction amount less than or equal to the amount of funds associated with the at least one bank account; and approve and settle the transaction.

Account tokenization for virtual currency resources

Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for non-intrusive geo-location determination associated with transaction authorization. The invention enables one or more transactions initiated by a user to be authenticated and/or validated based on, at least in part, determined locations of the user relative to the locations of the one or more transactions. The user location is determined by transmitting one or more queries to a user device. The system determines the validity of the one or more transactions based on at least comparing the transaction location to the user location, before enabling further processing of the one or more transactions. The present invention is advantageous since it enables authentication/authorization of one or more transactions associated with the user by utilizing the user location, while precluding any inadvertent privacy concerns.

Non-intrusive geo-location determination associated with transaction authorization

Embodiments enable a system operatively connected with a block chain distributed network to use the block chain distributed network for validation (i.e., authorization) of a payment transaction. The system receives a transaction record associated with a payment transaction, wherein the transaction record comprises transaction data indicating a payor, a payee and an amount; accesses a distributed ledger stored in the memory device, wherein the distributed ledger is updated based on communications from a block chain distributed network; and, using payment transaction logic, determines whether the transaction record represents a valid transaction by, e.g., communicate the transaction record to a validating node for validation of the transaction record. Once validated, the system (or validating node) communicates validation of the transaction record to the block chain distributed network, e.g., by updating the distributed ledger with information indicating validation of the transaction record and providing access to the distributed ledger to the network.

System for implementing a distributed ledger across multiple network nodes

The system includes a processor operable to receive a request from a customer to perform a cryptocurrency transaction with a third party. The processor may also retrieve block chain information associated with the cryptocurrency transaction. The processor may also determine the amount of cryptocurrency associated with the cryptocurrency transaction. The processor may further calculate a risk score for performing the cryptocurrency transaction based at least in part upon the block chain information and the amount of cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency risk detection system

A system includes a memory that may store a customer account associated with a customer and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is able to receive a request to deposit a quantity of cryptocurrency into the customer account and associate the quantity of cryptocurrency with the customer account. The processor is also able to deposit the quantity of cryptocurrency into a vault connected to a network and determine a total quantity of cryptocurrency deposited into the vault. The processor may also, in response to determining the total quantity of cryptocurrency deposited into the vault exceeds a threshold, facilitate the disconnection of the vault from the network.

Cryptocurrency offline vault storage system

A system includes a memory and a processor. The memory may store a customer account associated with a customer and an enterprise account associated with an enterprise. The processor may be communicatively coupled to the memory and may cause the system to receive a request to deposit a first amount of a cryptocurrency in the customer account from the customer. The processor may also cause the system to determine a public key associated with the customer account and receive the first amount of the cryptocurrency. The processor may further cause the system to determine a first value approximately equivalent to the first amount of cryptocurrency and associate the first value with the customer account. The processor is further able to aggregate the first amount of cryptocurrency with an aggregated amount of the cryptocurrency in the enterprise account and facilitate securing the public key in the enterprise account.

Cryptocurrency aggregation system

A system comprises a memory operable to store a customer account, a first float account, and a second float account. The system further comprises a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor may receive an electronic request for a currency exchange and determine exchange rates for exchanging a first currency for a second currency. The processor may also determine an optimal exchange rate. In response to determining the optimal exchange rate, the processor may determine a first amount of the first currency and associate the first amount with the customer account. The processor may also transfer the first amount of the first currency into the first float account and determine a second amount of the second currency. The processor is further able to associate the second amount with the second float account and transfer the second amount of the second currency to the customer.

Cryptocurrency transformation system

Apparatus and methods for distributed processing of a check image are provided. A payee may submit a request to deposit a negotiable instrument. The request may be received at a first financial institution. The negotiable instrument may be a check. A transaction record may be generated at the time of the request. The transaction record may be based on information handwritten or printed on the negotiable instrument. The transaction record may be transmitted to a second financial institution. The second financial institution may conduct a fraud analysis based on the transaction record. The second financial institution may transmit a fraud indicator to the first financial institution. Based on the fraud indicator, the first institution may accept or deny the request of the payee. Apparatus and methods may distribute computing resources associated with detection of fraudulent negotiable instrument. The resources may be distributed among the first and second financial institutions.

Distributed processing of a check image

A method for using a smartcard is provided. The smartcard may include a microprocessor chip, a button, a dynamic transaction authorization number, a Bluetooth low energy ('BLE') device, and a battery. The battery may power the BLE and the microprocessor chip. The smartcard may also include memory. The memory may store the dynamic transaction authorization number. The smartcard may also include a dynamic magnetic strip. The dynamic magnetic strip may include a digital representation of the dynamic transaction authorization number. The method may include pressing the button. The method may also include transmitting an instruction to a smartphone for a request for a dynamic transaction authorization number. The transmission of an instruction may be in response to the pressing of the button. The method may also include receiving a dynamic transaction authorization number from a smartphone.

Method and apparatus for providing real time mutable credit card information and for providing sleep mode functionality

Embodiments of the present invention provide an agent-based delivery platform to supply financial document images in a variety of formats to fulfill requests from various clients of an image processing system at a financial institution. Workflows can be created using extensible markup language (XML) to direct the operation of the system. Software agents on the system can include a client agent, a delivery agent, an index agent, a format agent, an image agent, and/or a workflow agent. The workflow agent manages the execution of the workflow. Images and relevant data can be located using a master index residing in partitioned, high-speed databases.
