A composite acoustic damping batten suitable for interposition between first and second building elements, the composite acoustic damping batten comprising at least two resilient portions, each resilient portion comprising a first face and a second face, the first and second resilient portions of the at least two resilient portions being conjoined such that the first face of the first resilient portion and second face of the second resilient portion are spaced apart from each other forming opposing external surfaces of the composite acoustic damping batten; wherein the first face of the first resilient portion is configured for securable contacting engagement with the first building material; and the second face of the second resilient portion is configured for securable contacting engagement with the second building material.

Composite acoustic damping batten

An adjustable building panel support device comprising a building panel support element, a support bracket and at least one connector suitable for attaching an insulated building panel to a substrate for constructing an insulated wall section. The building support element and the support bracket are fixable together at a user determinable position by the at least one connector whereby the distance between the building panel support element and the support bracket can be varied to accommodate surface variations that may be present on a substrate surface.

Adjustable building panel support device

An acoustic damping building material () comprising an acoustic damping layer () secured to at least a portion of a substrate (). The acoustic damping layer comprises at least two media wherein the at least two media are configured such that the acoustic damping layer comprises at least one direct energy transmission pathway and at least one indirect energy transmission pathway through the acoustic damping layer to the substrate.

Acoustic damping building material

A fa&#xe7;ade () comprising at least one fa&#xe7;ade panel () having a front face () and a rear face () and at least two panel support elements (). Each panel support element () comprises a first arm (), a second arm () wherein at least a portion of the second arm () is attached to the rear face () of the fa&#xe7;ade panel (). The panel support element () also comprising at least two panel retaining elements (), each comprising a first flange () and a channel, wherein at least a portion of the second arm () of the panel support element () is restrained within the channel () and each panel retaining element () is attached to a building structural substrate ().

Facade

An acoustic dampener () comprising a base member () having a first surface () and a second surface (), the first surface () and the second surface () are spaced apart from each other defining a thickness () therebetween. The acoustic dampener () further comprising a pair of side arms (), each having a first end () and a second end (). Each side arm () is attached to the base member () at its first end () at a predetermined angle. The side arm () extends from the base member () to form a channel formation () to receive a batten. A flange () extends substantially orthogonally from the second end () of each side arm () for retaining a batten within the channel formation ().

Acoustic dampener

A building element () that is suitable for use as a structural element in wet areas or external docking. The building element () comprises a rigid substrate () having an upper face (). Over the first face () lies a radiation curable resin () into which a layer of reinforcing material () is at least partially embedded. The reinforcing material () and resin () can be applied separately or together onto the first face () of the rigid substrate () or in some cases can be applied to both faces. An apparatus and method for producing the building sheet are also disclosed.

Surface sealed reinforced building element

A panelized cladding system including a plurality of battens securable to a building structure, each batten having a structure engaging surface and an integrally formed finish ready panel supporting surface, and fiver cement cladding panels secured to or through the battens such that the finish ready panel supporting surface of each batten forms an external recessed surface of an express joint formed thereon.

Expressed joint facade system

A framed wall construction () includes a generally vertically orientated frame (). A substantially planar layer of a moisture barrier () having a generally water-resistant front surface is fixedly attached to substantially cover the frame (). To complete the wall construction, an outer cladding material () is secured to cover the moisture barrier ().

Framed wall construction and method

A wall cladding and wall cladding system each comprising a plurality of panels, wherein opposing ends of each panel are substantially aligned with corresponding opposing ends of adjacent panels to form respective edges of an array of panels. Each panel includes at least one first recess in its first major face adjacent a first major edge configured in use to resemble a recessed mortar joint.

External and internal wall cladding system

A structural fiber cement sheet containing cementitious matrix and reinforcing cellulose fibers distributed throughout the matrix having a dry density less than 1.25 g/cm, a thickness less than 0.7500 in, and able to withstand uniform loads of 200 psf or greater according to test method of Section 6.4.2.4 of PS2 and with a deflection of less than 0.067 inches at 60 psf when spaced on a span of 24 inches or less on center.
