Circuitry for identifying a misaligned wheeled irrigation tower within a plurality of wheeled irrigation towers is disclosed. The circuitry may include a test resistance, a plurality of resistances, and detection circuitry configured to be coupled to the test resistance, wherein the detection circuitry is configured, when installed in the center pivot irrigation system, to identify the misaligned wheeled irrigation tower of the plurality of wheeled irrigation towers based on a detected voltage. A related retrofit kit and method are also disclosed.

On a user interface presented on a display screen, an alteration point marker is rendered on a circular shape representing a center pivot irrigation system. A fine position control may also be rendered on the display screen. The fine position control may comprise a first icon and a second icon, wherein the first icon is for repositioning the alteration point marker in a first circular direction, and wherein the second icon is for rotating the alteration point marker in the second circular direction.

Systems and methods for controlling center pivot irrigation systems

Circuitry for identifying a misaligned wheeled irrigation tower within a plurality of wheeled irrigation towers is described. The circuitry includes a test resistance configured for installation in a center pivot irrigation system. The circuitry also includes a plurality of resistances. Each resistance of the plurality of resistances is configured for installation in a wheeled irrigation tower of the center pivot irrigation system and to be coupled to the test resistance. Each resistance of the plurality of resistances is configured to be coupled to a corresponding switch of a respective wheeled irrigation tower and a neutral line. The circuitry further includes detection circuitry coupled to the test resistance. The detection circuitry is configured, when installed in the center pivot irrigation system, to identify a misaligned wheeled irrigation tower of a plurality of wheeled irrigation towers based on a detected voltage.

On a user interface presented on a display screen, an alteration point marker is rendered on a circular shape representing a center pivot irrigation system. The alteration point marker is aligned with an input point specified by user input. A fine position control may also be rendered on the display screen. The fine position control may comprise a first icon and a second icon, wherein the first icon is for repositioning the alteration point marker in a first circular direction, and wherein the second icon is for rotating the alteration point marker in the second circular direction.

An electronic device is described, including memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to receive center pivot irrigation system information corresponding to a center pivot irrigation system and to request map data. The processor is also configured to a user interface with a map of the center pivot irrigation system. The processor is further configured to receive an input via the user interface indicating an input point. The processor is additionally configured to render an alteration point marker at a first position, the alteration point marker representing an alteration point for the pivot, the alteration point corresponding to a first radial position of the pivot at which a change in operation of the pivot is set to occur. The processor is also configured to control the center pivot irrigation system to alter operation of the pivot at the first radial position.

Each of the plurality of resistances is configured for installation in a wheeled irrigation tower of the center pivot irrigation system and to be coupled in series with the test resistance. Each of the plurality of resistances is configured to be coupled to a corresponding switch of a respective wheeled irrigation tower and a neutral line. The circuitry further includes detection circuitry coupled to the test resistance. The detection circuitry is configured, when installed in the center pivot irrigation system, to identify a misaligned wheeled irrigation tower of a plurality of wheeled irrigation towers based on a voltage corresponding to the test resistance.

An electronic device comprising memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory is disclosed. The at least one processor may be configured to render, on a user interface, a circular shape representing a center pivot irrigation system. The at least one processor may also be configured to receive a first input via the user interface indicating a first input point on the user interface. The at least one processor may also be configured to render, on the user interface, an alteration point marker on the circular shape at a first position aligned with the first input point and a center of the circular shape. The first position of the alteration point marker corresponding to a first radial position of the pivot. The at least one processor may be configured to control the center pivot irrigation system to alter operation of the pivot at the first radial position.
