An adaptable and removable winch mount is an adapter that connects to an existing snowplow mount on a pickup truck which in turn allows for the attachment of a winch mount. The mount provides a seamless transition between the snowplow mount and the winch mount. The invention consists of two parallel steel plates that each connect to the plow mount via a pin lot and locking hole each. The plates are then interconnected by two steel tubes with a receiver hitch in the middle. The overall width of the invention is approximately thirty-three inches. This allows a standard hitch mount winch to then be attached to the invention in a typical manner.

Adaptable and removable winch mount

A water sports equipment storage rack including at least one U-shaped support, a claw, a drive mechanism, and a biasing member. The claw is (i) configured to move in an outward direction and in an inward direction and (ii) rotatable about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position. The drive mechanism is configured to linearly move the claw in the outward direction and the inward direction. The biasing member is configured to (i) impart a biasing force to rotate the claw about the pivot axis in a direction toward the closed position and (ii) reduce the biasing force as the claw approaches the end of its linear travel, allowing the claw to move to the open position.

An adjustable mirror assembly includes a mirror having a reflective surface. The adjustable mirror assembly may include a first locking mechanism configured to lock a support in a finite number of discrete positions. The support may be movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The mirror may be pivotally mounted to the support and may be configured to pivot about a second pivot axis to orient the reflective surface of the mirror in an aft-facing direction in both the lowered position and the raised position.

Adjustable mirror assembly for a boat

An apparatus for towing a water sports performer including a first leg, a second leg, a header, and a tow-line-attachment structure. Each of the first leg and second leg is adapted for attachment to one of the port side of a centerline of a boat or the starboard side of a centerline of a boat. The header is capable of assuming a plurality of different header lengths, and includes a first header portion, a second header portion, a housing, and a locking mechanism. The housing connects the first header portion and the second header portion. The housing includes a first receiver configured to receive a second end of the first header portion at a plurality of different positions. The locking mechanism is configured to secure the second end of the first header portion to the housing in one of the plurality of different positions to set the header length.

Apparatus for towing a water sports performer

An apparatus for towing a water sports performer includes a first mounting plate, a second mounting plate, and a tower. The first mounting plate is adapted for attachment to a port gunwale of a boat. The second mounting plate is adapted for attachment to a starboard gunwale of the boat. The tower is pivotably and detachably secured to the first and second mounting plates. Each of the first and second mounting plates includes a retractable tower connector that, when retracted, is positioned at or below a substantially flat upper surface of the mounting plate, and, when not retracted, extends above the upper surface of the mounting plate to pivotably and detachably secure the tower to the mounting plate.

A rack for holding water sports equipment includes a substantially upright surface, an arm, a pedal, and a linkage between the pedal and the arm. The arm is configured to hold a piece of water sports equipment between the arm and the substantially upright surface. The arm is movable away from the substantially upright surface, against a force biasing the arm toward the substantially upright surface, to allow the piece of water sports equipment to be inserted or removed from between the arm and the substantially upright surface. The pedal is positioned and configured to be moved from a closed position to an open position by a force applied by a human foot and to return to the closed position when that force is removed. The pedal is directly or indirectly connected to the arm in order to move the arm away from the substantially upright surface when the pedal is moved from the closed position to the open position.

Bracket

An accessory bracket is provided for mounting an accessory, such as a mirror or other instrument, close to the field of vision of a pilot of a boat, for instance. The bracket is mounted to a tower or other structure with a mount forming a clamp so that the bracket and an attached accessory are above the lines of sight of the pilot, thereby avoiding obstructing the pilot's view of the environment of the boat. The bracket includes an arm extending from the mount and a post extending from the arm. The mount is adjustable relative to the structure, and the bracket is accordingly adjustable. The accessory is mounted to the post and is adjustable relative to the post such that the accessory may rotate around the post and may pivot relative to the post. The arm may include a hinge for raising and lowering a portion of the arm and the attached post and accessory. These adjustment characteristics allow a pilot to position the accessory in a desired position dependent on the pilot's lines of sight so that the accessory remains close to the pilot's field of vision.

Support

A support bracket and method for securing and supporting a superstructure for towing persons behind a vehicle such as a boat is disclosed. The support structure has an arcuate face with a length several times that of a tubular member of the superstructure so that the arcuate face provides support over a portion of the tubular member and so that the face mates with the tubular member. The bracket is removably attached and secured to the vehicle and to the superstructure so that it may be removed, or replaced without altering or damaging the superstructure, and so that weld seams are not used. The arcuate face and a second face of the support structure that secures to the boat are set an angle provides a properly erect angle to the superstructure when the bracket, boat, and superstructure are secured.

Tower and support

An accessory bracket is provided for mounting an accessory in a desired position. A mirror other instrument may be mounted close to the field of vision of a pilot of a boat, for instance. The bracket may be mounted to a tower or other structure with a mount forming a clamp so that the bracket and an attached accessory are above the lines of sight of the pilot, thereby avoiding obstructing the pilot's view of the environment of the boat. The bracket includes an arm extending from the mount and a post extending from the arm. The mount is adjustable relative to the structure, and the bracket is accordingly adjustable. The accessory is mounted to the post and is adjustable relative to the post such that the accessory may rotate around the post and may pivot relative to the post, or vice versa. The arm may be raised and lowered. These adjustment characteristics an accessory to be mounted in a desired position.

A device for tracing electrical cable. The device allows a cable installer or service person not only to identify one wire or cable in a group, but to simultaneously remotely identify as many cables as he desires. The device requires only that the installer connect a test device to each of the cables which he wishes to identify. Additionally, this identification is extremely easy to accomplish, as the 'Identifying label' is in the installers own spoken words, and can be heard at the remote end by using existing industry standard test equipment (i.e.: an installer's test set, phone, headset, or amplified probe).
