Disclosed herein are methods of using immunomodulatory sterols as vaccine adjuvants. Accordingly, certain embodiments relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing at least one antigen and at least one immunomodulatory sterol; and, methods of inducing an immunomodulatory response in a patient by administering an immunomodulatory-effective amount of at least one immunomodulatory sterol.

Sterols as novel immunomodulatory agents and their use as vaccine adjuvants

Disclosed herein are compounds, compositions, and methods for inhibiting a histone methyltransferase. The compounds are verticillin derivatives that exhibit anti-proliferative activity against cancer cells. The compounds, compositions, and methods can be used to treat a subject with cancer.

Semi-synthetic analogues of epipolythiodioxopiperazine alkaloids

Compounds and compositions of matter are provided that are small molecule antimicrobials. The compounds are selected from JH-144, TH-04 or TH-08 or combinations thereof. Compositions of matter are provided which in an embodiment may comprise a carrier, and in further embodiments may comprise a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, film, biofilm or edible film. Methods of use are provided in which the composition may be administered to a subject in need thereof, and in an embodiment where the subject has a bacterial infection. Other embodiments provide the composition may be contacted with surface to eliminate or reduce bacteria.
