A fuel supply system includes a first component configured to direct a fuel flow to a combustor of an engine system. The first component includes a first inner surface and a first outer surface. The fuel supply system also includes an outer coating disposed on the first outer surface of the first component. The outer coating is configured to thermally insulate a first interior of the first component to reduce non-catalytic coke formation in the first interior. Additionally, the fuel supply system includes an inner coating disposed on the first inner surface of the first component. The inner coating is configured to reduce the fuel flow from contacting a base material of the first inner surface of the first component to reduce catalytic coke formation in the first interior.

Systems and methods for reducing coke formation of fuel supply systems

A system for discharging compressed air from a compressor includes a air distribution manifold that is in fluid communication with the compressor via a conduit and at least one discharge line that is in fluid communication with the air distribution manifold. The discharge line defines a flow path from the air distribution manifold to atmosphere. The discharge line comprises a coupling pipe that is coupled to the air distribution manifold, a sparger section that is disposed downstream from the coupling pipe and at least one restrictor plate that is disposed between the coupling pipe and the sparger section within the flow path. The restrictor plate comprises at least one aperture that provides a pressure drop of the compressed air between the air distribution manifold and the sparger section.

System for discharging compressed air from a compressor

A method for detecting leakage at a fluid connection for a gas turbine fuel supply system is disclosed herein. The method includes closing a flow control valve at an upstream end of the fuel supply system and pressurizing the fuel supply system with a compressed medium via a compressed medium supply to a target pressure. The target pressure is less than a pressure threshold of a check valve that is disposed downstream from the compressed medium supply and upstream from a corresponding combustor of the gas turbine. The method further includes pointing a receiver portion of an ultrasonic detection device proximate to at least one tube fitting of the fuel supply system located between the flow control valve and a combustor which is fluidly coupled to the fuel supply system. Detection of an increase in sound level and/or the sound of popping at the tube fitting is indicative of a leak at the tube fitting.

Method for detecting leaks in a fuel circuit of a gas turbine fuel supply system

A system includes a mixing assembly configured to mix a liquid fuel and a water to generate a fuel mixture. The fuel mixture is configured to combust in a combustor of a gas turbine. The mixing assembly includes a liquid fuel passage disposed in an integrated housing. The liquid fuel passage is configured to flow the liquid fuel and to exclude liquid traps. The mixing assembly also includes a water passage disposed in the integrated housing. The water passage is configured to flow the water and to exclude liquid traps. The mixing assembly also includes a mixer disposed in the integrated housing and coupled to the liquid fuel passage and the water passage. The mixer is configured to mix the liquid fuel and the water to form the fuel mixture.
