A fluid control valve for use in a fluid delivery system for delivering fluid to a patient includes a valve body defining an internal chamber, a first inlet port for receiving a first inlet tube, a second inlet port for receiving a second inlet tube, an outlet port, and a sliding valve member slidably disposed in the internal chamber. The first inlet tube defines a first inlet lumen axially aligned with the internal chamber. The second inlet tube defines a second inlet lumen axially aligned with the internal chamber. The sliding valve member includes a first sealing end and second sealing end. The sliding valve member is positionable in a first operating state, a second operating state, and a third operating state based on a flow differential between the first inlet lumen and the second inlet lumen.

Fluid control valve and manifold

A cap for intake and delivery of a fluid from a syringe is described. The cap includes an outer cap assembly comprising a fluid inlet path and a fluid outlet path and an inner cap assembly configured for insertion into a fluid nozzle of the syringe and to provide selective fluid communication between an interior of a syringe and the fluid inlet path or the fluid outlet path. The outer cap assembly is slidable relative to the inner cap assembly between a first filling position, where the interior of the syringe is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet path, and a second delivery position, where the interior of the syringe is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet path. Syringes including the cap are also described.

Sliding syringe cap for separate filling and delivery

Systems and methods of micro-infusion of medical fluids are disclosed. Micro-infusion systems may include a pump, a patient interface, tubing between the pump and the interface, and a micro-infusion device along the tubing. A first portion of the tubing above the micro-infusion device is longer than a second portion of the tubing below the device. The micro-infusion device may include a chamber in-line with the tubing, a first valve between the chamber and the first portion of the tubing, a second valve between the chamber and the second portion of the tubing and a third valve between the chamber and a dump chamber. The second valve may be slidably disposed within the chamber. A medical fluid may be provided into the chamber that slides the second valve displacing another fluid in the chamber through the third valve into the dump chamber.

Micro-infusion device and infusion set

Pump cassettes, infusion systems, and methods are described. An example pump cassette may include a rigid body comprising a frame portion, a base portion, a compliant membrane disposed substantially therebetween, and two opposing longitudinal edge sections. The rigid body may include a controllable fluid pathway defined in part by the compliant membrane and extending from an inlet port to an outlet port. The pump cassette may include a slider coupled to the two opposing longitudinal edge sections and longitudinally articulable with respect to the rigid body.

Pump cassettes, infusion systems, and methods are described. An example pump cassette may include a rigid body including two opposing edge sections, an inlet port, an outlet port, and a controllable fluid pathway extending from the inlet port to the outlet port. The pump may include a slider coupled to the two opposing edge sections and articulable with respect to the rigid body; and a flow stop valve operably coupled to the controllable fluid pathway.

A body is disclosed that includes a tubular portion with an internal bore and an external surface and a first opening wherein the internal bore terminates at the first opening. The body has a second opening and a fluid passage extending through the body from the internal bore to the second opening. The internal bore is configured to couple to an external surface of a first tube and the external surface is configured to couple to an internal surface of a second tube.
