A baler for hay, straw, grass, and similar feed materials is provided. The baler communicates compressed material from a vertically inclined compression passage formed in-between opposing conveyer belts to a central area of a baling chamber for baling. A plunger within the baling chamber can reciprocate in two directions to form bales which are tied and discharged from both ends of the baling chamber.

There is provided an improved sterilization wrap and a method for using the improved sterilization wrap to sterilize an article. The wrap is made of at least one sheet, and preferably two sheets, of sterilization material and in some embodiments, includes an additional sheet which may be made of an absorbent material. The sheet of absorbent material may have a smaller perimeter than at least one sheet of sterilization material. One side of at least one sheet of sterilization material includes a central portion. The absorbent material may be attached to the central portion of at least one sheet of sterilization material. The article to be sterilized is placed on the sterilization wrap and is then wrapped. The absorbent material provides sterility protection for the article in addition to the at least one sheet of sterilization material and also wicks moisture away from the article after sterilization has taken place. A visual indicator may be provided to indicate whether or not the article has been exposed to adequate sterilization conditions.

Sterilization wraps and methods for sterilizing articles

There is provided an improved sterilization wrap and a method for using the improved sterilization wrap to sterilize an article. The wrap is made of at least a first panel of sterilization material and includes an additional panel of material. The first panel is multi-layered and includes at least one pathogen filtration layer. The first panel is rectangular and has an outer periphery and a central portion. The outer periphery includes first, second, third and fourth edges. The additional panel of material is bonded to the first panel, approximately at a forty-five degree angle to the first panel, with a substantial portion of the additional panel being adjacent to the central portion of the first panel. The perimeter of the additional panel is smaller than the perimeter of the first panel. Portions of the additional panel are bonded to the first panel along the first, second, third and fourth edges of the first panel. The article to be sterilized is placed on the additional panel, is wrapped, and sterilant is applied to the wrapped article. A chemical visual indicator is provided to indicate whether or not the article has been exposed to adequate sterilization conditions.

There is provided an improved sterilization wrap and a method for using the improved sterilization wrap to sterilize an article. The wrap is made of first and second sheets of sterilization material. Each sheet has first, second, third and fourth edges. Each sheet includes a central portion. The first edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the first edge of the second sheet; the second edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the second edge of the second sheet; the third edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the third edge of the second sheet; and the fourth edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the fourth edge of the second sheet. The central portions of the first and second sheets are substantially not bonded together. Thus, two layers of sterilization material are provided for an article to be sterilized.

Four edge sealed sterilization wrap and method for sterilizing an article

There is provided an improved sterilization wrap and a method for using the improved sterilization wrap to sterilize an article. The wrap is made of a first and second sheets of sterilization material. Each sheet has first, second, third and fourth edges. Each sheet includes a central portion. The first edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the first edge of the second sheet; the second edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the second edge of the second sheet; the third edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the third edge of the second sheet; and the fourth edge of the first sheet is in register with and bonded to the fourth edge of the second sheet. The central portions of the first and second sheets are substantially not bonded together. Thus, two layers of sterilization material is provided for an article to be sterilized.

A disposable face mask with improved moisture control characteristics to reduce the uncomfortable buildup of perspiration and to avoid fogging of eyeglasses or an attached eyeshield. The mask body includes at least an inner layer, worn next to the wearer's face, and a generally coextensive outer layer. An absorbent core is located between the layers, of lesser extent than the mask layers, and positioned so that at least a portion of an intermediate region of the mask is unobstructed by the absorbent core. As examples, the absorbent core may be made of wood pulp or wood pulp blend nonwoven, either of which may be impregnated with super absorbent (SAP). As another example, the absorbent core may be made of peat moss. The absorbent core may be made of a woven material such as cotton, a nonwoven material with absorbent characteristics, or a combination of both. The inner layer is immediately adjacent the absorbent core, and is made for example of a nonwoven fabric designed to 'wick' moisture into the absorbent core. The inner layer may be zone treated so as to be hydrophilic in areas of the intermediate region which are overlapped by the absorbent core, hydrophobic in areas of the intermediate region which are unobstructed by the absorbent core, or both hydrophilic in areas of the intermediate region which are overlapped by the absorbent core and hydrophobic in areas of the intermediate region which are unobstructed by the absorbent core.

Disclosed is a shaving apparatus which utilizes a continuous water supply, and comprises a shaver, a valve means connected to a water supply means, a flexible tubing connecting the valve means to the shaver and a swivel attachment of the tubing and the shaver handle. The shaver is provided with inner passageways and orifices in the shaver head for transporting and dispersing water from the shaver to the surface to be shaved and across the shaving edge.
