The present disclosure generally relates to techniques for presenting operations in a presentation. A technique is provided for allowing a user to insert media items on consecutive slides. During a presentation mode, the media items are determined to be two instances of a same media item, and matched such that the media item plays continuously across multiple slides. Another technique is provided to allow a user to utilize a user input to override a linearly-defined set of actions within a presentation. Another technique is utilized to temporarily select a visually obstructed object in a graphic editing interface such that the visually obstructed object may be manipulated during the temporary selection mode.

Presentation features for performing operations and selecting content

Techniques for accomplishing slide transitions in a presentation are disclosed. In accordance with these techniques, objects within the slides are identified, automatically or by a user, and each object is individually manipulable during slide transitions. The individual manipulation applied to each object during a transition may also be automatically determined or specified by a user. In certain embodiments, the persistence of an object between slides may be taken into account in the manipulation of the object during slide transition.

Object-aware transitions

Techniques for displaying object animations on a slide are disclosed. In accordance with these techniques, objects on a slide may be assigned actions when generating or editing the slide. The effects of the actions on the slide are depicted using one or more respective representations which represent the slide as it will appear after implementation of one or more corresponding actions.

Action representation during slide generation

Approaches are described in which objects within slides are identified, automatically or by a user, and each object is individually manipulable during slide transitions. The individual manipulation applied to each object during a transition may also be automatically determined or specified by a user. The persistence of an object between slides may be taken into account in the manipulation of the object during slide transition such that objects present on both a incoming and outgoing slide are handled differently than those objects present on only one of the slides.

A dual purpose truck bed cover includes a pair of door panels that are hinged respectively to the sidewalls of a truck bed. The panels are suitable for deployment into an upwardly raised position so as to extend the height of the cargo bed storage cavity of the truck. In such a raised position, stabilizing braces are provided for releasably supporting the panels in the upright, raised position. The door panels are alternately deployed into a closed position completely covering the storage cavity of the truck bed and a latch device is provided for releasably holding the door panels in the closed position.

Dual purpose truck bed cover

A bowling ball thumb sleeve provides an elongated sleeve having a cylindrical wall thickness composed of a yieldable material that defines an open-ended passageway adapted to insertably receive the thumb of the bowler via either end of the sleeve as opposed to the sole opening of a finger insert. Each open end of the passageway is defined by a geometric shape or configuration at the time of sleeve usage in the bowling ball hole. The sleeve provides for at least one pad or wedge-shaped thickened portion at least at one entrance to the passageway and such may be present at both entrances. An example of an entrance shape may be oval, round or elliptical and the improved sleeve provides for a combination of these geometric shapes. The thumb sleeve is elongated and of a length greater than the length of a bowling ball hole and the player may select the entrance opening shape and ramp thickness followed by severing and removing the opposite end which then may be discarded. The selected portion is inserted into the bowling ball hole and will be of the proper length and expose the desired opening entrance shape.

A wrist and hand support for bowlers, including an elongated cushioned base supporting an elongated laterally or transversely flexible brace member against the back of the hand and wrist of the bowler. Straps having hook and pile fasteners releasably retain the brace member in position as well as the cushioned base on the bowler's hand and wrist. The brace member includes an elongated sheath having open end pockets for receiving the opposite ends of a plurality of spaced-apart rods arranged in spaced-apart relationship. The rods are rigid and may be arranged in parallel or in angled relationship on the sheath with the separating sheath material forming flexible areas permitting the brace member to flex laterally along its length or about its longitudinal axis as viewed from the end of the brace member. Therefore, the user's hand and wrist are rigidly supported which aids the bowler in delivering a bowling ball down a bowling alley. Wedge elements may be inserted between the brace member and the back of the hand having different degrees of tilt so as to increase or decreate rotation of wrist motion placed on the bowling ball.

A wrist and hand support for bowlers, including an elongated cushioned base supporting an elongated laterally or transverseley flexible brace member against the back of the hand and wrist of the bowler, is disclosed. Straps having hook and pile fasteners releasably retain the brace member in position and retains the cushioned base on the bowler's hand and wrist. The brace member includes an elongated sheath having open end pockets for receiving the opposite ends of a plurality of spaced-apart rods arranged in spaced-apart relationship. The rods are rigid and may be arranged in parallel or in angled relationship on the sheath with the separating sheath material forming flexible areas permitting the brace member to flex laterally along its length or about its longitudinal axis as viewed from the end of the brace member. Therefore, the user's hand and wrist are rigidly supported which aids the bowler in delivering a bowling ball down a bowling alley.
