An air mixing system for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a conduit configured to receive a first airflow and a second airflow and to discharge the first airflow and the second airflow as a mixed airflow via an outlet of the conduit. The air mixing system also includes a thermal wheel disposed within the conduit. The thermal wheel is configured to direct the first airflow and the second airflow thereacross, rotate within the conduit, and transfer heat between the first airflow and the second airflow.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an air handling unit having a housing that defines an air flow path therethrough, a heat exchanger disposed within the air flow path and configured to flow a working fluid therethrough, and a nozzle configured to deliver a fire suppression agent into the air flow path.

Integrated air distribution system and fire suppression system

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed toward a heat exchanger that includes an evaporator coil section disposed at least partially within a first flow structure configured to direct a first flow of air across the evaporator coil section, a condenser coil section fluidly coupled with the evaporator coil section and disposed at least partially within a second flow structure configured to direct a second flow of air across the condenser coil section, and an auxiliary heat exchanger fluidly coupled with the evaporator coil section, where the auxiliary heat exchanger is external to the first flow structure.

Auxiliary heat exchanger

A heat exchanger for use with a two-phase refrigerant includes an inlet header, an outlet header, and a plurality of refrigerant tubes hydraulically connecting the headers. A distributor tube has a plurality of orifices disposed in the inlet header, the end of the refrigerant tubes opposite the outlet header extends inside the inlet header and abuts a surface of the distributor tube, a portion of an inner surface of the inlet header facing the surface of the distributor tube and the surface of the distributor tube defining a first chamber. A gap separates at least a portion of the distributor tube and the inlet header, the gap extending from at least the orifices to the first chamber, wherein at least one partition having at least one opening formed therethrough spanning the gap, the partition separating the orifices from the first chamber.

Heat exchanger

An apparatus and method for a gas drying system includes a recuperator section having first and second fluid flow paths wherein fluid flowing through the first fluid flow path is in thermal communication with fluid flowing through the second fluid flow path. A refrigerated section having a third fluid flow path is in fluid communication with the first fluid flow path for further cooling the flowing fluid to about a dew point temperature. A moisture separator section is disposed between the recuperator and refrigerated sections, the assembled sections forming an integral construction, wherein the separator is in planar contact with the recuperator and refrigerated sections. The separator has a fourth fluid flow path in fluid communication with the third fluid flow path and the second fluid flow path for removing condensed and entrained liquid from a stream of flowing fluid prior to fluid flowing into the second fluid flow path.

Gas-drying system

A plate heat exchanger includes a plurality of plates for providing a flow path for two fluids. The plate heat exchanger has an inlet and an outlet for each of the two fluids, wherein facing surfaces of two adjacent plates of the plurality of plates defines a flow path for a first fluid. The opposite surface of one of the two adjacent plates and a facing surface of another adjacent plate from the plurality of plates provides a flow path for a second fluid. The first fluid and the second fluid flowing along their respective flow paths are maintained in thermal communication with each other. A plurality of surface features associated with at least a portion of one surface of at least one of the plates provides enhanced heat transfer between the two fluids passing along adjacent plates.
