Technologies for cloud-based secure WLAN group self-forming are described. One provisioner portal device receives, from a client provisionee device that desires to connect to a home WLAN, a first SSID and forwards, to a cloud service via a wireless AP device, the first SSID and a MAC address. The provisioner portal device receives, from the cloud service via the WAP device, a second SSID and a passphrase. The provisioner portal device sends, to the client provisionee device, a response that includes the second SSID. The provisioner portal device creates a one-time provisioning wireless network with the second SSID and the passphrase. Through the provisioner portal device, WAP credentials can be exchanged from the cloud server to the client provisionee device over a secure channel. The WAP credentials can be used to switch to the home WLAN without user interaction to manually enter the WAP credentials at the client provisionee device.

Cloud-based secure wireless local area network (WLAN) group self-forming technologies

Techniques for providing a server-based Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) PIN procedure are described. In an example, a computing device generates a PIN associated with a WPS-PIN procedure. The computing device encrypts the PIN to generate an encrypted PIN based on a public key associated with a server. Further, the computing device sends, to another computing device that is communicatively coupled with the server via an access point, a WPS probe request that includes the encrypted PIN. Based on the WPS probe request, the computing device receives, from at least one of the other computing devices or the server, a credential associated with the access point. The computing devices connects to the access point based on the credential.

Microwave interference mitigation techniques and systems are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, microwave interference mitigation involves coordinating wireless traffic in accordance with a magnetron's on-and-off cycle so that data is not sent during the magnetron's on period, and is exclusively sent during the magnetron's off period. Wireless traffic can be coordinated using a voltage monitoring and zero-crossing point detection technique coupled with a Clear To Send (CTS) packet. For non-microwave devices, wireless traffic coordination can be achieved using a pattern matching algorithm coupled with a Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) threshold adjustment during the magnetron's on-and-off cycles. Additional, or alternative, microwave interference mitigation techniques involve decreasing a maximum packet size for data packets that are to be transmitted wirelessly in the environment, which guarantees successful transmission of data packets during the magnetron's off periods.

An electronic device improves touch accuracy and prevents false or missed touches on a capacitive touch display by monitoring contextual events or environments unrelated to user input. When a capacitance change occurs, the device dynamically evaluates whether it may have been caused by the contextual events or environments. The device intelligently adjusts one or more parameters to account for the change in capacitance caused by the contextual events or environments to thereby prevent detection of the capacitance event as a false touch and/or prevent a missed true and legitimate user input.

A method manages a cluster of network devices each having an intra-cluster identifier. The method includes (a) selecting a plurality of network devices to form a cluster, (b) selecting a first network device to be a commander network device having a public IP address, each of the remaining network devices being a cluster member network device and having a non-public network address, (c) receiving at the commander network device a network management request message from a management console, the message including a source address field containing an IP address of the management console, a destination address field containing the IP address of the commander network device, a request identification field containing an original request identifier uniquely identifying the message, and an intra-cluster identifier, and (d) forwarding the message to the-cluster member network device identified by the intra-cluster identifier using the non-pubic network address of the cluster member network device.
