An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for delivery of software. A snapshot module is included to create a snapshot of development software libraries still in a development phase, the development software libraries comprising substantially an entire replacement set of software code. A testing module is included to apply a set of tests to the snapshot to ensure that the snapshot is substantially free from defects and a delivery module delivers the snapshot to a user. The snapshot may be configured for a mainframe computer operating system such that a previous version of the software code is replaced in a single operation. The mainframe computer operating system may be the z/OS operating system.

Apparatus, system, and method for delivery of software

A request is received from a user associated with the client and a transaction aging value is copied to a security aging value associated with the cached user security profile if the transaction aging value is specified with the user request. A decay time is calculated utilizing a profile refresh time stamp associated with the cached user security profile and a system clock. The cached user security profile is then refreshed if a refresh event occurs.

Multi-level security profile refresh

A master dynamic aging value associated with the client is calculated responsive to an operator command to perform the global refresh. When receiving a request from a user associated with the client, a sub-dynamic aging value associated with a cached user security profile for the user is compared to the master dynamic aging value. If the sub-dynamic aging value is not equal to the master dynamic aging value, then the cached user security profile is refreshed.

Method, computer program product, and system for global refresh of cached user security profiles
