The invention provides a container dispensing apparatus and a liquid dispensing apparatus. The container dispenser includes a housing, axial bores for receiving a column of containers and a central, axial bore, a vertical bar attached to and uprising from the housing, upright legs that are attached to the peripheral wall of the housing, a cover being positioned above the housing and having a number of downwardly extending rods and a downwardly extending, central pipe, a guide for the vertical bar attached to the cover, a pair of friction pads separating the guide for the vertical bar from the vertical bar while acting as a reenforceable break to allow lifting and lowering of the cover along the vertical bar, a handle engaged with the vertical bar, a fulcrum that is attached to the cover and that is engaged with and supports the handle. The liquid dispenser has a housing with a side wall and a bottom wall. The bottom wall is provided with a number of liquid dispensing openings that are selectively positioned. A spider-like dispenser may be used as a replacement for the openings with the bottom wall having only one opening to which the spider is connected. A plate with liquid dispensing openings is positioned upon the bottom wall of the housing. Some openings of the plate, are positioned upon the number of liquid dispensing openings of the bottom wall when the plate is positioned along some upright bars upon the bottom wall. The liquid dispensing openings are retained exactly and directly above surfaces of the bottom wall. A lever serves to raise the plate.

A trailer hitch for actuating the hydraulic brakes of a wheeled trailer responsive to the relative movement between a tow vehicle and the trailer being towed comprises a base plate adapted to be affixed to the tow vehicle and has a sliding plate which moves relative to the tow vehicle and carries a trailer hitch ball to receive the tongue portion of the wheeled trailer. A hydraulic master cylinder is removably mounted on the base plate stationary relative to the sliding plate and connected by conduit to the hydraulic brakes of the towed trailer. An actuating rod on the sliding plate is operatively connected to the master cylinder piston whereby forward movement of the sliding plate will pressurize the fluid therein to activate the wheel brakes of the trailer as the tow vehicle is slowed down. An electric solenoid is removably mounted on the base plate and operated from the two vehicle to selectively move a latch between locked and unlocked positions to prevent relative movement between the sliding plate and the master cylinder whereby the trailer may be backed up by the tow vehicle without actuation of the trailer brakes. The master cylinder may be removed from the tow vehicle and stored on the trailer without disconnecting the hydraulic line, and the solenoid may be removed from the base plate and stored on the tow vehicle without disconnecting the electrical conduit when the trailer is not being towed.

Automatic terminal machines for banking transactions utilize a document dispenser for delivering bank notes to a customer. The document dispenser moves the bank notes from a storage bin by means of a picker mechanism that moves along a path profile established by the configuration of a pair of cam tracks and associated cam followers. The picker mechanism includes vacuum cups for lifting the first document from a stack in the storage bin for delivery into a document transport. Connected to the vacuum cups is a vacuum/pressure supply that includes a multiple chamber cylinder that provides both vacuum and pressure synchronized with operation of the picker mechanism. The piston is pivotally mounted to enable swivel action when driving the interconnected pistons in respective chambers. When provided, the document dispenser includes a cassette having a loading door and an unloading door, each separately equipped with a locking device. These locking devices provide a tamper-proof cassette configuration when the cassette is removed from the dispenser for servicing. The various locking devices are released by locking the cassette housing into the document dispenser.

The invention comprises a tool for removing fuel injectors from diesel engines without damaging any adjacent component parts or user's hands. The invention comprises an elongated member having a U-shaped injector engaging member at one end. The elongated member has a locating pin which is adapted to fit inside one of several bolt holes along side a fuel injector in a diesel engine. The locating pin serves as a pivot for the mechanic to manually lever the injector loose from the diesel engine.

A stove of the wood burning type is provided with a smoke passage having a main opening adjacent the access door of the stove and an auxiliary opening therein which is located further away from the access door and more closely adjacent the rear portion of the smoke passage and the chimney than the main opening. A regulator damper controls the rate of flow of products of combustion from the combustion chamber through the main opening and the smoke passage to the chimney, and an auxiliary damper normally closes the auxiliary opening when the access door is in a normally closed position. Apparatus is operably associated with the auxiliary damper and the stove access door for effecting movement of the auxiliary damper from the normally closed position to the opened position prior to the access door being opened for redirecting the products of combustion through the auxiliary opening and thus further away from the access door so as to thereby prevent the escapement of smoke through the stove access opening when the access door is opened.

Apparatus based on right-angle socket adapted to hold therein either square or round shank of workpiece for grinding faces of latter in diverse arcuate and/or planar patterns. Setting requires use of only two adjustments, each effected with great and easily reproducible accuracy: (a) by slide track for radial displacement of socket from axis of rock shaft (precisely measured by use of gage blocks), (b) angular rotation of socket on corner or edge axis-- angular variation in either direction therefrom defines eccentricity of arc thus ground from reference arc centered on rock shaft. Thus settings for the two dissimilar edges or tail of a trepan bit are each set simply by turning the socket different degrees on its corner edge axis. Alternately, socket can be located for concentric rotation of workpiece by continuous driving shaft instead of rocking.
