A two-piece dispensing closure for dispensing essential oils includes an insert received into a container opening and a closure body including a dispensing spout and a hinged cap. The cap is connected to the closure body by a living hinge to allow the user to selectively open and close the container. A tamper-evident tear strip is integrally formed with the closure body. The insert and the closure body including mating helical ramps which cooperate to insure that the insert remains installed within the container neck when the closure body is removed after purchase.

Two-piece drop dispensing closure

A self-venting closure assembly includes a closure body having a deck with a peripheral mounting skirt and an annular seal on an underside of the deck adjacent to the peripheral mounting skirt. The closure body further includes a circular valve seat within the center portion of the deck, and a plurality of vent openings circumferentially spaced within the valve seat. An elastomeric umbrella valve is centrally mounted to the deck and has a frustoconical valve flap arranged on an underside of the valve seat. The valve flap cooperates with the vent openings to normally seal the vent openings but permits air to flow into an interior of the closure body when a vacuum is applied to an interior of the container on which the closure is mounted.

Self-venting closure

A two-piece measured-dose dispensing closure () includes a cup-shaped measuring chamber () and a rotatable dispensing control lid (). In use, the dispensing control lid is axially moved relative to the measuring chamber by rotation between a first closed position, a second intermediate dispensing position, and a third drain position.

A two-piece measured-dose dispensing closure includes a cup-shaped measuring chamber and a rotatable dispensing control lid. In use, the dispensing control lid is axially moved relative to the measuring chamber by rotation between a first closed position, a second intermediate dispensing position, and a third drain position.

A dispensing closure for dispensing a flowable product from a squeeze-type product container includes a closure body having an upper deck, an exit orifice, and a skirt configured to attach to the product container. A measuring reservoir is received in engagement with a lower surface of the upper deck. The measuring reservoir is filled with a measured dose of flowable product through flow ports when the container is inverted. A piston valve is slidably movable within the measuring reservoir between an open position and a closed position. The piston valve is movable from the open position to the closed position to dispense the measured dose of product responsive to pressure within the container induced by squeezing.
