A signal processing system and method for delivering spatialized sound, comprising: a spatial mapping sensor, configured to map an environment, to determine at least a position of at least one listener and at least one object; a signal processor configured to: transform a received audio program according to a spatialization model comprising parameters defining a head-related transfer function, and an acoustic interaction of the object, to form spatialized audio; generate an array of audio transducer signals for an audio transducer array representing the spatialized audio; and a network port configured to communicate physical state information for the at least one listener through digital packet communication network.

System and method for providing a spatialized soundfield

A portable desk with a generator for providing electrical power to a computer or other electrical device that is collapsibly foldable to a compact form wherein successive sections comprise a back panel, a desk top panel hinged from the top edge of the back panel, two side panels hinged from the side edges of the back panel, two bottom panels hinged from the bottom edges of the side panels and two movable foot treadle panels hinged to the bottom edge of the back panel. The generator is removably attached to the top panel and is connected to the foot treadles so the generator is operated by actuating the foot treadles. The power generator comprises an electrical connection, such as a USB connector, for a computer or other electrical device.

A system for using trading cards interactively through an electronic network, such as the Internet, combines uniquely identified trading cards with specially designed electronic services. Each trading card, which designates a game player, such as a sports talent, has associated therewith a unique identifier of alphanumeric characters. The game playing rights to a subset of these trading cards is sold to a plurality of card collectors, the game players designated by the cards of each subset forming a game playing &ldquo;team&rdquo; to be managed by the respective card collector. The collector registers selected ones of the cards from his/her subset of cards with a game service provider, thus placing the game players designated by the selected cards &ldquo;in play&rdquo;. Thereafter, the game service provider determines current information about each game player in play and advances the status of the game between the collectors whose game players are in play in accordance with the current information and in accordance with the rules of the game. The collectors can change the selected ones of the cards which are registered with the game service provider in an attempt to improve their chances of winning a game.

System for using trading cards interactively through an electronic network

A simplified keyboard arrangement for use by a child. The simplified keyboard arrangement has a matrix of keys which are so situated to facilitate interaction between the child and a device, such as a computer. The simplified keyboard arrangement also develops motor skills of the child and encourages development of coordination. The simplified keyboard arrangement may be a self contained keyboard or an adapter provided for a standard-type keyboard. An adapter is also provided which allows connection of the simplified keyboard and a standard keyboard to a single keyboard port for simultaneous use of both keyboards.
