A frequency input for receiving a frequency signal and digital storing for storing the received frequency signal. A controller has a first and second input and an output. The first input is connected to the digital storage for providing a reference signal and the output provides a frequency control signal. The second input is connected to circuitry for changing the operation mode of the controller to either an amplifier or an integratory. As an amplifier, a digitally set offset and gain is applied to the amplifier for providing an output generating approximately the frequency of a prior signal. A switch connects the frequency output to the second input when operating in the integrating mode to control the output for generating a desired frequency.

Servo control with self calibrating preset

An improved side lobe suppression circuit in a racon for determining frequency band edge. As the temperature varies, a temperature frequency calibration table receives a temperature measurement and determines which frequencies are out of band as the temperature varies. A microprocessor changes the threshold values in a ram in response to temperature changes to suppress out of band frequencies but to allow the transmission of in band frequencies above a predetermined threshold.

Temperature compensated side lobe suppression

A method and apparatus of measuring the pulse width of electronic pulses which may have a large variation in amplitude. An electronic pulse includes a rising edge, a top and a falling edge and the method and apparatus measures a first point adjacent to the beginning of the rising edge, and measures a second point adjacent the beginning of the falling edge and measures the pulse width as the difference between the first and second points whereby the pulse width measurement is insensitive to the amplitude of the pulse width.

Method and circuit for measuring pulse width

A lightning protected antenna in which at least one metallic antenna and its connected electronic housing is enclosed in a pressurized non-magnetic enclosure. A conductive path for lightning is provided which does not interfere with the radiation pattern of the antenna. The path includes a metal tip on top of the enclosure, and the antenna itself is used as a conductive path for the antenna grounding system.
