A hydraulic fluid cooling system for a pair of integrated hydrostatic transmissions includes a common reservoir holding hydraulic fluid and having hydraulic lines connecting the common reservoir to each integrated hydrostatic transmission, a hydraulic fluid reservoir inside each integrated hydrostatic transmission, and a pump for pumping fluid from each transmission's hydraulic fluid reservoir to the other transmission. An auxiliary hydraulic circuit is between the pair of integrated hydrostatic transmissions. The system pumps hydraulic fluid from one of the integrated hydrostatic transmission to the auxiliary hydraulic circuit, and the return line from the auxiliary hydraulic circuit may be connected to the other integrated hydrostatic transmission.

A hydraulic fluid cooling system for a pair of integrated hydrostatic transmissions includes a common reservoir holding hydraulic fluid and having hydraulic lines connecting the common reservoir to each integrated hydrostatic transmission, a hydraulic fluid reservoir inside each integrated hydrostatic transmission, and a pump for pumping fluid from each transmission's hydraulic fluid reservoir to the other transmission. Hydraulic fluid lines link each transmission's hydraulic fluid reservoir to the other transmission. The system pumps hydraulic fluid from the sump or reservoir of each integrated hydrostatic transmission to the other transmission, providing the cooling capacity of a non-loaded transmission to cool hydraulic fluid for a fully loaded transmission.

A mechanism connecting a rate control with a brake control for preventing the rate control from being shifted from a non-driving mode to a driving mode when the brake control means is in its parked mode, including a rod-like member having an offset portion biased to block an accelerator arm of the rate control, and a cam member in contact with the offset portion for allowing the offset portion to shift to its blocking position when the brake control is shifted to the parked mode, and for shifting the offset portion to a position whereat the accelerator arm is free to shift between the driving and non-driving modes when the brake control is in the unbraked mode.

Accelerator pedal and brake mechanism

A vehicle which has a foot actuated speed control and linkage, a hand actuated control for selecting the forward or reverse mode, a brake pedal and linkage, and a mechanism connecting the speed control linkage and the mode control. The connecting mechanism comprises a rod coupled to an idler arm of the speed control linkage and a swingable connecting arm. The arm comes in contact with a selection arm of the mode control linkage to prevent the mode from being shifted when the speed control is depressed, and to limit the speed in reverse. A stop rod swings down over an arm of the speed control linkage as a parking brake is applied to block the movement of the speed control.

Engine hood

A bagger for a front mount mower including a bagger support attached to the drive vehicle at a point intermediate the operator's seat and the rear wheel. A pair of bag support rims are releasably attached to the bagger support and a pair of L-shaped bags are suspended on and depend from the respective rims. The L-shaped bags are supported over the mid-portion of the drive vehicle forward of the rear wheel. Each bag is contoured to provide a large capacity to receive clippings while being disposed in close proximity to the top and sides of the drive vehicle.
