By providing a shaver receiving and supporting housing which is constructed for enabling cleaning fluid to be delivered directly to the interior of a shaver in a highly efficient manner, a fully integrated shaving cleaning system is realized which is capable of providing automated cleaning of the shaver in an efficient and effective manner. In accordance with the present invention, the cleaning fluid if forced through portals formed in the shaver for enabling the fluid to be forcibly delivered directly into the hair pocket of the shaver, thereby enabling the surfaces of the hair pocket, the cutting foils, and the cutting blades to be completely and thoroughly cleaned, with the fluid draining out of the shaver through the cutting foils. In addition, the present invention is constructed for thoroughly and completely cleaning both rotary shavers and foil shavers.

Method and apparatus for cleaning the cutting system of an electric shaver

An air deodorizing assembly including a frame having a liquid reservoir; a filter element connected to the frame; and a switch actuator connected to the frame. The switch actuator is adapted to cause an open electrical path to close when the frame is located proximate the open electrical path.

An air filter assembly including a frame, a filter and an odor eliminator liquid. The frame forms an air flow channel. The filter is connected to the frame in the air flow channel. The filter includes at least one filter element. The odor eliminator liquid is located on a first one of the filter elements.

Odor removal system

A system for supplying air to a discrete space to obtain a desired set point temperature within the space includes a plurality of units for conditioning the air in the space. Each of the units has an independent electric power supply cord for connection to a source of electrical power. One of the units includes a master control and another of said units includes a slave control. The master control includes a user temperature control to establish a desired set point temperature within the discrete space. Each of the units includes its own thermostat for sensing the ambient temperatures in the area of the discrete space immediately adjacent the respective units. Each of the units has its own communication device, which enables the master control on the one unit to simultaneously vary the operation of each of the units in inverse proportion to the sensed ambient temperatures to substantially uniformly condition the temperature of the air in the discrete space.

A toaster oven includes a modular storage compartment. The sidewalls of the storage compartment are vertically aligned with the sidewalls of the toaster oven. The respective sidewalls of the toaster oven and the storage compartment are connected to each other for securing the modular storage compartment to the toaster oven. The front wall of the storage compartment is movable relative to the sidewalls to provide access to the interior of the compartment.

An electric oven having a frame; top heating elements connected to the frame; a control connected to the heating elements; a food support rack removably connected to the frame between the top heating elements and a bottom of the frame; a drive comprising a motor connected to the frame; and a rotisserie skewer removably connected to the drive. The rotisserie skewer is located between the top heating elements and the bottom of the frame. The control has an oven temperature and broil selector, and a timer selector.

An electric toaster oven having a housing, a heating element connected to the housing, a reflector connected to the housing, and an object supporting rack connected to the housing and forming an article receiving area between the rack and the housing for receiving an article to be heated. The rack has a stepped profile with raised side sections connected to the housing and a lower main section. A lower area of the article receiving area is defined by a top of the lower main section. The reflector has a generally inverted V shaped side profile with a generally concave area facing the heating element.

A switch actuator for an electric iron comprises a one-piece member with a first end stationarily connected to the housing of an iron and a second end adapted to be depressed by a user. The second end extends through an aperture in the housing. The second end is located in front of a control switch of the iron inside the housing. The second end has a transparent section to transmit light from a signal light inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The first end of the member is interlockingly captured by a receiving area of the housing without use of additional fasteners.

An overtemperature protection assembly with a mount, a solder terminal and a bridging connector. The mount is a block of ceramic material with a slot extending therethrough. The solder terminal has an end that is located in the slot and forms a frictional connection therein. The bridging connector has a busing terminal and a spring contact. The busing terminal has an end that is located in the slot. The spring contact has a first end connected to the busing terminal and a second end that is deflected towards the solder terminal and soldered thereto. If the solder connecting the second end of the spring contact to the solder terminal melts from excessive heat, the spring contact deflects away from the solder terminal thereby breaking electrical connection between the solder terminal and the busing terminal.

The soleplate has a first primary steam generating area and a separate second surge steam generating area. The second surge steam generating area is located above and along the heating element in the soleplate. The second surge steam generating area substantially surrounds the first primary steam generating area and both areas have exits into a rear chamber. The rear chamber is connected to a steam distribution chamber for allowing the steam to exit the bottom of the soleplate.

An electric steam iron includes a housing, a water reservoir, a boiler in fluid flow communication with the water reservoir, a soleplate, a steam cover overlying the soleplate in spaced relation thereto for defining a steam boiler chamber. An electrically operated heater is associated with the soleplate. A fluid control device regulates the flow of fluid from the reservoir to the steam boiler chamber. The chamber has a first portion for receiving water from the reservoir and a second portion. An extraction channel is formed overlying the second portion of the steam chamber. The steam cover has a first opening communicating the steam chamber with the extraction channel. The soleplate has a steam distribution chamber spaced from the steam boiler chamber. The steam cover has a second opening for communicating the extraction channel with the steam distribution chamber.
