A display rack for displaying all sizes of beverage bottles has a single upright panel with a plurality of keyways. Each keyway receives and holds a beverage bottles by its neck ring. Each keyway has an arcuate upper portion, and arcuate lower portion smaller in dimension than the upper portion, and a generally straight intermediate portion connecting the upper and lower portions. Each keyway limits upward movement of one head of one bottle inserted therein while allowing the body of the bottle to tilt downward.

A display rack for a plurality of beverage bottles includes a base member with a plurality of vertically disposed channel members mounted thereon. Each channel member has a longitudinal slot and a keyway along the slot. The keyway or top of the slot receives the beverage bottles and holds the bottles by the neck ring which is larger in lateral dimension than the width of the slot. Bottles are dispensed one at a time through the keyway by moving a bottle up or down to align it in the keyway where it can be pulled laterally through the keyway.

A display rack for displaying all sizes of beverage bottles has a support column with a plurality of keyways. Each keyway receives and holds a beverage bottle by its neck ring. Each keyway limits upward movement of one head of one bottle inserted therein while allowing the body of the bottle to tilt downward to thereby hold the bottle by its neck. A plurality of brackets, each having a keyway, can be fastened to the support column with each bracket having a lower connecting flange fastened to the support column and an upper positioning flange. The brackets can be fastened to one another forming a vertical column without the vertical support member. Each bracket has a lower horizontally oriented connecting flange and an angled upper positioning to cause a bottle to tilt downward when inserted in the keyway. The keyways can be formed in the support column without brackets or the brackets can surround the support column forming platforms.

A gravity feed merchandising device includes a plurality of longitudinally extending, downwardly inclined tracks. Each track includes a pair of parallel rails defining a space therebetween. The rails support a row of bottles such that the underside of each bottle neck flange engages the rails for movement relative to the rails. Each track is provided at its front end with a spring-urged stopper so that the cap of the leading bottle in that track is prevented from dislodgement through the front end of the track when the leading bottle is supported by the track, but can be removed from the track through the front end when pulled against the stopper.

A display rack for displaying all sizes of beverage bottles has a bottom, laterally extending cross member, a top, laterally extending cross member spaced from and above the bottom cross member, and vertical support members for supporting the top and bottom cross members. The top cross member has at least one keyway for receiving the head of a beverage bottle and holding the beverage bottle. The keyway limits upward movement of the bottle the associated bottom cross member limits downward movement of the bottle.

A merchandising device is designed for dispensing bottles each having an integrally formed annular neck flange. The device includes an elongate track for supporting a row of the bottles such that the bottles in the row are suspended by their neck flanges for movement along the track and are removable from the track through the front end of the track. The track includes a pair of side walls interconnected by a top wall to form a channel structure, and a C-shaped reinforcing flange provided at the front end of the track to increase the rigidity of the front end.

A modular merchandising device for bottles is disclosed. The merchandising device comprises a plurality of parallel elongate tracks, and support means for supporting the tracks so that each track is inclined downwardly toward its front end. Each track is designed to support a row of bottles such that the bottles in the row are suspended by their neck flanges for movement along the respective track and are removable from the respective track through its front end. Because of the inclined position of the tracks, the bottles when supported by each track are allowed to gravity feed one after another to the track front end as the leading bottles in the respective row successively are removed from the respective track. The support means comprises a pair of front and rear transverse support members disposed generally perpendicularly to the tracks. Each track comprises means for removably mounting the respective track on at least one of the front and rear transverse members. The removably mounting means comprises means for movably connecting the respective track to the one transverse member for sliding movement along the one transverse member.

Modular bottle-dispensing device and method of dispensing bottles

A shelf mounting assembly comprises front and rear opposed uprights and an adapter member on which a shelf is mounted. Each upright has engaging slots vertically disposed at spacings. The adapter member extends between the uprights and connected to the same by one or more of the engaging slots of each upright. This allows the adapter member to be supported at a selected elevation. The adapter member comprises a shelf-mounting flange for detachably and movably connecting a shelf to the adapter member so that the shelf may be mountable at different positions along the adapter member.

A support assembly for a display shelf, includes an upright for supporting the shelf in an elevated position, the upright having a plurality of slots disposed therealong at vertical spacings whereby the shelf may be supported at a selected elevation, an upper hook engaged with one of the slots of the upright, an elongate member connected to the upper hook and extending downward from the upper hook, a lower hook connected to the elongate member at the position lower than the upper hook to engage the shelf, and a spacer interposed between the upright and the lower hook to retain the lower hook at a predetermined position with respect to the upright.

A merchandising device includes bottles arranged in a row, a track for supporting the row of bottles, a support rack for supporting the track, and a stopper provided at the front end of the track to engage the leading bottle in the row. Each bottle has a cap and an integrally formed annular neck flange. The bottles are suspended by their neck flanges for movement along a path defined by the track and are removable from the track through the front end of the track. The track is inclined downwardly toward the front end, and thereby the bottles are allowed to gravity feed toward the front end along the path. The stopper prevents the leading bottle from exiting the front end until removal thereof is desired. The leading bottle when at the front end is suspended in a vertical position. The stopper includes an engaging element disposed at the front end for movement transversely of the path as well as of the leading bottle, and a spring for urging the engaging element transversely into the path. The engaging element is positioned relative to the leading bottle such that when in the path, the engaging element abuts the cap of the leading bottle to stop the leading bottle at the front end.

Gravity feed bottle dispensing device and method of dispensing bottles

A bottle dispenser has a gate mechanism to maintain the foremost one of the track-supported bottles substantially vertical. The dispenser includes an elongate track which defines a longitudinally extending pathway, a support assembly for the track, and a stopper provided at the front end of the track. The track supports a row of flanged bottles such that the bottles are suspended by their neck flanges for movement along the pathway and removable from the pathway through the front end of the track. The support assembly supports the track such that the track is inclined toward its front end whereby the suspended bottles are allowed to gravity feed toward the front end when the leading bottle in the row is removed from the track. The stopper engages with the leading bottle to prevent its accidental removal through the front end. The gate mechanism blocks the pathway at a position between the front and rear ends of the track. The mechanism is activated when the foremost bottle in the row engages the stopper so that forward movement of the other bottles behind the foremost bottle is blocked. This allows the foremost bottle to be free of pressure of the other bottles when stopped at the front end of the track.
